My wife and I contracted with CCD to perform the design portion of our remodel. This remodel was no small task, changing the design of our house from traditional to a transitional, along with the sheer size of the project.
The project took almost 18 months to complete and turned out better than we could imagine.
Marie and her team, especially Sascha, did a superb job and kept us in the loop on all aspects of the project. Their suggestions and illustrations, which were constant from the start, made it easy for us to give feedback for discussions and changes. This point was paramount for us.
We would consider their professionalism, creativity and design concepts, willingness to receive and incorporate our feedback, communication style and ability to work with our contractor, second to none in the Bay Area. All these points are necessary for a designer to be successful and the client to be satisfied with the end product.
We would highly recommend them if you in need of a high-end design firm.

We have worked with Marie over the years on projects as small as furnishing a children’s game room and, most recently, as large as remodeling our entire home (including tearing much of it down to the ground). For our recent remodel, Marie provided architectural direction as well as interior design, both with superb results. Marie and her team are consummate professionals. Marie brings an outstanding eye for design and an innate ability to optimize architecture, space, and color. I have used Chelsea Court Designs several times in the past, once for an entire home remodel and recently a master bath remodel. There is no one or no design firm that I know of that is more TALENTED than Marie Peterson and her design team. Marie is an incredibly sweet person, professional, creative, always on time and very sensitive to the needs of her clients. Her finished product is always stunning, better than expected !!! Chelsea Court Designs was involved in all aspects of Interior design of our house and also advised us on the Architecture and Landscape designs. Marie and her staff are highly experienced, professional and have always stayed on top of the project and schedules. Sascha and Marie transformed my 1970's townhouse into a vintage-inspired dream home. These ladies are smart, kind, considerate, creative, knowledgeable and have impeccable taste. My style, function and budget needs were always respected and implemented. In fact, they knew what would work better than I did. They came up with brilliant ideas that made my space far more functional and stylish. This project was pretty much a gut job, and they helped me create 3 bathrooms, a living room, a master suite and a spectacular kitchen that are all stylistically harmonious but completely unique. As a landscape Architect Chelsea Court Design is a pleasure to work with on any project. I have been involved with many interior designers but the design expertise, service and professionalism I have seen with Chelsea Court is superior to any other firm I have worked with.
As a designer it is wonderful to to collaborate as a team with the interior designers, coordinating elements for the inside and outside environments so there is a seamless look throughout.
On a recent project we both worked on, Marie designed an amazing kitchen that won first place in the nation for kitchen design. She is truly a creative genius! Clients love her creativity and ability to organize and provide for a project from the largest to smallest details. This makes the process much easier for the clients who have so many decisions to make during the design process. I highly recommend Chelsea Court Design.
