My family and I've been coming here for years. The food is always good and consistent. The kids love the Lion King roll. The unique thing is they have good sauce to each item. The bento box have 4 different items and comes with 4 different sauce with a different twist. I like the salad dressing and the tempura sauce is tasty as well. We don't live too far from the restaurant so we always visit when we get a chance. Sometimes after working so late we just rather do doordash for some rolls. Jay, You should be proud to have Thida representing your business! The woman is a gem. She's professional, friendly, and inviting. She represented your business as if it were her own, so much so, that I was compelled to ask her if she owned the business. She told me that she did not, but even then, she represented the business so well that I didn't believe her, and thought to myself, " oh, she's just being modest."  She treated every customer as a guest, and treated everybody fairly.  I really enjoyed her  customer service, and the food is great ! This was the best experience and service I've received hands down! Thida instantly made me feel like family. She She was so professional, welcoming and honest. I feel like she had my best interest at heart and provided excellent recommendations for me as I tend to be indecisive and was on a budget. Place is clean, right off freeway, fast. I got the loin king and Cali roll combo. Great deal at $13.50, but I think the rolls are already pre-made. Usually I wait 15 minutes for a lion king roll, my order was ready in 5 minutes. It was still fresh, but not hot or fresh out the oven & there was a bit too much teriyaki sauce on top, too sweet. The chicken teriyaki comes with rice & steamed veggies, price is good too. But I think I'll ask for less teriyaki sauce, it's really saucy. If you come earlier, they have a BOGO deal, if you're getting 2 orders of teriyaki. They also have deals on the sushi rolls. My rating is 3-1/2 stars. More...

This is one of my favorite place to get cheep sushi. Every time I walk the place is very welcoming. I normally just get sushi at the place and the price can't be beat for how high quality the sushi is, highly recommended the place.

This place is definition of great value for a great price! If it's your first time here, don't forget to check in to get TWO free egg rolls! I was craving a bento box so I came here based on the reviews. There is a lot of food in the bento box so you are sure to be full after. I got the beef teriyaki option; the beef teriyaki itself wasn't anything to write home about, very average to a little below average. However, what this restaurant does really well is their fried foods. Their shrimp tempura was absolute PERFECTION! I wish I had gotten the pork katsu cutlet (fried) because I think that would have been much better than the beef teriyaki judging based on their other fried sides and entrees. I haven't tried the sushi though so maybe I will update my review if I do! Based on the price, I will definitely be returning. The restaurant is a little small, not a lot of seating but it looks like a lot of people (like me) take their food to go so it isn't an issue! Truthfully, it's been a year or two since I've been here because I moved across town but I have rediscovered this amazing place! The portions are GINORMOUS, and the price is unreal. They always have lunch or dinner specials that make this place is amazing if you're on a budget, or super hungry LOLWe've recently been making Costco runs about every two weeks, and this place is always the next stop. Since we come here in the afternoon, we always take advantage of the lunch specials. We end up getting two massive boxes stuffed with chicken teriyaki and rice/noodles for about 10 or $11. I don't know any other location that gives you such great perks. The sushi here is really great too. Not super fancy, but it is super good. Recently I've been into baked rolls so I've been getting the lion King and spicy tuna, or spam musubi. The spam is my least favorite of the three, but all of their other roles are really good. I'd recommend this place for group orders and catering. I called ahead and ordered 18 plates to go. The gal I talked to on the phone was very helpful and meticulous in ensuring she got my order 100% correct. The food was ready on time and piping hot when I picked it up. I was visiting my best friend in Hayward for her birthday. She was in the mood for sushi, so I Yelped for local sushi spots. Chef Teriyaki was the closest to her house and had overall positive reviews. Chef Teriyaki was located in the corner of a tiny strip mall. I was thinking that the place was going to be a nice sit-down spot to celebrate my bestie's birthday, so I was thrown off when I realized it was more like a fast-food/take-out type of restaurant. Due to the nature of the restaurant you would order and pay upfront, and then the food would come out in to-go foam boxes even if you were dining in. This restaurant was a prime example of never judging a book by it's cover though. The quality of the sashimi and rolls was not bad at all! The food was satisfying and hit the spot for me. There were some good daily deals to keep an eye out for. Two specialty rolls were $20 between 2-6pm daily, for example, otherwise they would normally cost ~$25.  We ordered the Philly roll, Chef Teriyaki roll, Honey Walnut Shrimp roll, and 10pc mixed sashimi. Besides the Philly roll, which I'm not a fan of in general and therefore didn't try, I thought the specialty rolls were excellent. The Honey Walnut Shrimp roll was my favorite of the three, but they were all very good in their own right. Lastly, customer service was great. The employee at the register was friendly and helpful, and he was kind enough to throw in a couple of extra egg rolls when I redeemed the free egg roll Yelp check-in offer. Very well managed fast food hibachi restaurant. Although there were 7 people working in a tight space, they operated like a well oiled machine. Two ladies up front did an excellent job controlling the flow of customers.My food came out very quickly although there were tons of customers there.I ordered fried rice but they ran out of it.
