Just had a beautiful meal here at Hat Bistio, my steak was cooked to prefection. The food is prepared and cooked with passion by the owners, this has to be a must visit restaurant when in Bristol .

Went for Sunday roast yesterday. As a veggie, they gave me a lovely veggie puff pastry tart and a fab sauce- the veg is some of best Ive ever tasted & had 6 types! 4 of us just had the roast here,3 lamb 1 beef,and it was faultless !! Yorkshires and roast potatoes to die for,and 5 veg plus a dish of cauliflower cheese still sizzling.
.If your looking for an authentic home cooked roast,i would encourage you to book here,you wont be disappointed

Thoroughly enjoyed our roast yesterday! Absolutely gorgeous could not fault anything and will be back. Roast pork and chicken, stuffing, pigs in blankets, parsnips, carrots, beans, broccoli, roast spuds and a huge Yorkshire, to top that off Darren brought out a huge dish of bubbling cauliflower cheese my fave. Simply sublime. Darren and his team provide the finest British food you will find in Sussex - and probably beyond. He's cooked for celebrities and it shows; the food here is everything British cuisine SHOULD be and often isn't. We've been five times now and we'll be back. We have been a few times now, this time for a round the world "tapas" style curry night!! Great dishes to choose from with fresh, fragrant, authentic flavours!
! It is an honest, down to earth, good food type of place! And if you've booked in for a tapas style eve, all I will say is, order a few dishes enjoy them, then order some more...until you're full as opposed to ordering loads at once!
