They were so easy to work with - meeting with us ahead of time to talk about what types of photos we wanted and to take some practice pics to get us comfortable with them. At the wedding, they were stand out vendors. They did not feel intrusive AT ALL and were able to capture so many great moments from the wedding. As a justice of the peace and longtime resident of the area, I go to an intense amount of weddings, both as a justice and as a guest. Cheetah Design Studio is the most commonly seen photography company and it is wild to look at wedding photos from other studios and persistently find them fall short of Cheetah Design's quality-some are completely adequate, others surprisingly bad. We rented a photo booth from Cheetah Design Studio for our wedding in Derry, NH back on August 29th. They were absolutely wonderful to work with and our guests had the best time getting their photos done. We had so many guests come up to us and tell us how much they enjoyed it and several of them even mentioned how really nice the operator was. CDS coordinated the setup and breakdown with our venue. They had worked with them before and everything went smoothly. They were setup on-time, had clean costumes so our guests could dress up for the funny pics, coordinated a memory book with all the pictures and messages from our guests. What makes photo booths such a great alternative to traditional photographers?
You can't really compare the two. However, a photo booth at an event really brings the crowd together. The photo booth is about entertainment for your guests, providing your guests with a keepsake (photo booth strip), and bring everyone together. The laughs spilling out of the photo booth is contagious.
What photo booth props do you offer?
All sorts, and take special requests. If our clients want to provide their own; that's fine by us. If you have a themed party we might have props for that so just ask and we'll see what we can do.
What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Wouldn't be a secret if I told you. Ok, fine...my secret is capturing the eyes. Finding the sparkle in the eyes, because when you look at a photograph of a person the first thing you look at are their eyes.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What's their favorite thing to do. Helps me get to know who they are, even if it's unrelated to the project.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting new people and making them laugh. When working photography I get to be silly with the kids, and I really like to work with the shy ones. Parents are always amazed afterwards that their shy child is playing and laughing with me at the end.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I'm a hard worker; might as well work for myself. I've worked for companies in the past, and always knew my end goal was to work for myself. There are ups and downs to it of course, but in the end I'm happy working for myself. I'm not sure I could go back to working for someone.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm reliable, organized, and a perfectionist. Being an athlete I often get called an overachiever, and I'm ok with that. I would hire an overachiever to work for me anyday.
