I would give Jemma at Chasing Paws ten stars if I could. What an absolutely brilliant service she provides! Attentive, friendly, caring and extremely professional. As much as she may just be a dog walker and you may think 'what is there to know about dog walking, its easy', boy she knows her field well! She has such a way with each and every dog, whether they are nervous over excitable and so much more. There is just something about her that puts them at ease and makes them feel at home. She is fully qualified in a range of different pet and dog related fields, and is never short of advice and always ready for a friendly chat. Jemma from Chasing Paws is amazing. Not only did she provide TLC to my dogs and cat while I was away, she also cared for my chickens! Because this was my first time away from all the animals in over a year, Jemma was able to keep in touch with me on the status of everyone and send a daily picture of the dogs. Jemma is trustworthy and I was very comfortable having her in my home. Jemma is meticulous, detailed, honest, and offers affordable pet sitting services. I love how Jemma pays attention to detail. She wanted to make sure that she knew my little guy: from his treats and his routine down to the way he likes to play ball. I never worried a minute while I was out of town because she had everything under control. It was such a comfort knowing that my little guy didn’t have to go stay somewhere else, but could stay in his own routine at home. I would HIGHLY recommend Jemma and her pet sitting services to ALL my friends with furry people. Jemma (Chasing Paws) is by far our first choice when we need a dog sitter. We have used her service on several occasions, the last one for a period of three weeks. My Jack Russell, Mouse, went to stay with lovely Jemma last week while I was at work - Jemma was so good with her when they first met at my house I knew she'd be in safe hands - and Mouse was very pleased to be left with her - It was great to get regular messages and pictures, reassuring me that Mouse had settled well - and with lots of walks and new doggy friends to play with, she'd obviously had a brilliant time with Jemma while I was away. Mouse isn't always terrific with other/bigger dogs and it was great to hear that she'd been socialising well and enjoying herself - I picked up a very happy but tired (in a good way) little terrier a few days later. Jemma is an absolutely fantastic dog sitter. Our dog Stanley is highly strung and anxious and prior to Jemma we could only leave him with a family member. My dog Izzy has been to Chasing Paws for both day care & overnight stays and every time I have dropped her off, Izzy has gone straight to Jemma and then made herself right at home in her house. This makes me feel very relaxed and comfortable about leaving Izzy in the care of someone else. When we pick her up we always get feedback both verbally and through messages of how Izzy has been and what they have done. Jemma makes sure the dogs always have fun and interesting walks, which she has sent pictures and videos to me of Izzy having fun! Izzy always comes back home shattered which is a good sign that she has been worn out. Prices are very reasonable for what Jemma offers and I would highly recommend her to anyone else!! Jemma has been looking after our Collie, Nelly for two years now, and it’s safe to say; we honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after her other than Jemma.
Before Nelly met Jemma, she was a very nervous and timid dog. Nelly would hide away from any new people and/or dogs, and would sit and shake until they had gone away.
So, when it came to our first Meet and Greet with Jemma, we were utterly gob smacked to see Nelly walk straight over, and flop in her arms for a belly tickle and a cuddle!!
During the Meet and Greet, Jemma provided us with some forms (Dog Forms, and T&Cs). The quality of the forms that we were given were so thorough we felt completely and utterly comfortable handing Nelly over to Jemma. She really had thought of everything! From a little welcome letter addressed to Nelly herself, to temporary ‘Chasing Paws Family’ ID tags for dogs that didn’t have collars.
Ever since then, we have never used anyone else to look after Nelly other than Jemma. Nelly has been to Chasing Paws for a number of different services (Dog Boarding, Doggy Daycare and Dog Walking), but the one thing that has always stayed the same, is how welcoming Jemma is towards her. Right from day one Jemma has welcomed Nelly into her family and looked after her as if she was her own.
Jemma has also on a few occasions taken Nelly to the vets when we haven’t been able to and somehow unknown to us managed to calmly get her in and out without fuss! (Nelly hates the vets!)
We absolutely love the fact that after going to Jemma, Nelly walks 10x better on the lead, socialises, walks and plays well with other dogs and isn’t phased by new people now.
Due to our jobs, we can be away a lot and sometimes at super short notice, but having Jemma around is an absolute god send. She is so flexible, and always manages to fit Nelly into her busy schedule.
We know that wherever Jemma is, Nelly is always safe and having fun. Jemma knows Nelly is my baby, and that I can be a worrier when I’m away, so it relaxes me completely when we receive text and photo updates, assuring us Nelly is having the time of her life.
Whenever we pull into Jemmas’ street, Nelly knows exactly where we are and gets so excited! When we pick Nelly up, she’s always tired and never really wants to leave. Nelly loves Jemma (sometimes we think more than us!)
I really cannot recommend Jemma enough. If you want someone to go above and beyond your expectations, to provide a homely and loving service at all times, then Jemma is for you! She’s an absolute lifesaver and we’re so glad we found her!

Jemma is an abouslute babe! She has such a delicate way with dogs! Alot of my friends hate leaving there dog with people when there away but with Jemma never seen so many people happy enough to hand them over, she always puts any dogs needs before her own and she's always going places to take the dogs for a good walk!

We joined Chasing Paws back in September when our black lab puppy was only 8 weeks old. Jemma started off coming in for puppy visits twice a day while we were at work and she now takes him out for walks and socialising with other dogs. We are always kept up to date on what Rory has been up to and she has helped him grow up to be a well socialised, well behaved dog! Charlie has been walking with Jemma and on occasion Nathan for just over a year now while we are at work, and I can honestly say she has worked wonders with him regarding socializing him with other dogs as he was quite nervous around them,

I’ve joined Jemma and the Chasing Paws dogs on a few walks recently.
The dogs are always super excited to see her, and most know when she’s coming to pick them up.
Charlie and Marley even sit at the door/window and wait for her!
I’ve never seen someone so confident and capable when it comes to walking different dogs from equally different backgrounds.
She always makes sure each dog is treated with care, and knows each individual dogs likes/dislikes, and their favourite walking routes, which makes her (to me) one of the best dog walkers around here!
Jemma works hard, she’s just as excitable as the dogs can be, and you can tell she loves her job. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to join into a dog walking service that’s just like family!

After finding Jemma by accident on a google search, I couldn’t be happier with her services. I have 2 Leo’s and they are a handful at the best of times but if you throw into the mix that they are both rescues you will understand the challenges I face getting them to trust outside of our family!
From the minute Jemma arrived for the meet and greet I could instinctively tell she had a bond with dogs and just ‘got’ them.
She was respectful of our wishes and also made recommendations around weather options etc.
I have returned from a weeks holiday to 2 very content Leo’s who were just chilled and happy at our return.
Thanks again Jemma and Nathan, you are going to make our trips away much more bearable xx

Tonight we met Jemma for the initial ‘meet & greet’ and instantly felt at ease. She was friendly, warm and easy going and all three dogs took to her straight away.
Her approach was laid back and honest, she gained her information by open chat and discussion and never seemed fazed when we told her some home-truths about our mischievous bunch!
We look forward to them staying with her when we go on holiday in May and feel so happy we have found a great service for our beloved pets.

Me and my Labrador Katie joined Jenna last week and iv been so delighted with the service she offers she looked after Katie why I went to London and I think Katie had a better holiday then me. She loved being with Jemma and the other dogs.
