Charmed Limousine Service

Dave, the owner of Charmed Limousine, is also the owner of Russell Limousine.  I recently hired Russell Limousine, but am posting a review here because it is run and operated by the same person. I hired Dave to help plan a surprise birthday party for my wife.  I can't recommend him enough.  Working with Dave was easy from start to finish.  He took time to explain everything so that there wouldn't be any kinks on the night of the surprise.  He showed up on time as promised, and the limousine was immaculate with all the bells and whistles.  Dave was great to work with.  I highly recommend him. We booked a full day tour of Napa. Dave was wonderful!As others have mentioned, his communication is great. All terms of our service were laid out and he was extremely responsive to messages. He helped me figure out time estimates so we could squeeze as much as possible into our schedule. The limo itself was beautiful and extremely clean. I booked Charmed to give me and my friends a ride to the Pebble Beach Food & Wine Festival for my birthday. Dave was easy to work with and booking was very straight forward. The limo was nice and clean and had water, soda, and champagne for us. I had an all around perfect experience with Dave and Charmed Limo Service. I called 5 different services, and Dave made the best impression, explained everything fully, and had a better car for a lower price that has everything inclusive. Charmed Limousine whisked us away from our wedding last month, and they were an exceptional company to work with. The booking process was easy, the quote was within our budget, and the communication via email and phone was responsive and professional. Day-of we were greeted with our stunning white limousine and a red carpet! Our driver was friendly and well-dressed. He explained the controls of the limo and didn't mind when we told him we had no destination in mind and to just drive! He also didn't mind when we changed our minds and did choose a destination (our favorite downtown SJ bar). He drove us over, asked us to give him a call when we were ready for pick up, was prompt at said pick up, and got us back to our hotel on time.The limo itself was clean and gorgeous! I've never been in a limo before and this one was SO cool. The complimentary bottle of champagne was also such a nice addition. We have just got back from a wine tour in the Sonoma Valley. Dave's limo service was excellent, made our day a truly special outing. He showed up with an impeccably clean stretched white limo, which was super spacious for five of us. The complimentary champagne put us into party mood right away. Her Ladyship and myself, requested transportation, to and from our wedding event, in Palo Alto. We were impressed with the professionalism and service . . . "K" it was just AWESOME!!With all the details of an upcoming wedding, invitations, rsvps, flowers, etc., which my participation was frowned upon, I stated, transportation, would be handled by me. They looked at me like I had rode into the room on a huge pink lobster. . . after much eye rolling, and some veiled threats I realized I had been given charge of Her Ladyships wedding transport and security. I found Charmed on YELP, called Dave, and never worry. He's very business like, asked quite a few questions, and we were good to go.Limo arrived a few minutes ahead of time, which I will be eternally grateful for btw, and we were in, on our way, sipping a glass of champagne.We arrived right on time, and retrieved exactly the same way. One funny note, after we were dropped off, we headed for the place where the event was planned, only we were one door over . . .and it was locked up. We hired Dave for my husband's birthday, and I was sort of embarrassed to let him know what we needed a limo for.  My plan was to go strip club hopping with a couple of friends in the limo.  When I called to make the arrangements, and I reluctantly told Dave what we wanted to do, he didn't hesitate to give friendly recommendations and help me plan our evening.He arrived promptly at the scheduled time to pick us up, and he was so friendly when he introduced himself and showed us how to operate everything in the back of the limo.  The car was well stocked with chilled sodas, waters and champagne.  The champagne glasses were lit with colorful lights on a rack in the limo, and the ceiling of the car was lit with star-like lights.  It was my very first time in a limo, and I was very dazzled by the experience.Dave drove us where we wanted to go, he gave suggestions, and he kept us well informed as to where he would be while we were in each venue. We used Charmed Limo for my daughter's prom and Dave made the night absolutely amazing. He was prompt, professional, and really went the extra mile to make the night special for my daughter and her friends. The four couples had a really fun time in the limo and loved all the snacks, sparkling cider, music, and red carpet treatment that Dave provided. IF YOU WANT WONDERFUL SERVICE, THIS IS THE COMPANY FOR YOU! Dave is fantastic! I should mention up front that I was NOT able to use this company (as their largest limo accommodates 10 max and I have 11 guests), but the service I received when I called had me hoping that one of my invitees would drop out! Dave immediately let me know they did not have a limo that would work for me. But even knowing that he would not make a sale, he took the time to give me all sorts of helpful information about the limo model I would need to look for, the limitations on the town I was in, etc. Additionally, I decided to ask for a quote should one person in my party become unable to attend. The number he gave me was about $350 cheaper than any of the other companies I have already contacted. Dave knows that the best way to run a business is to treat your customers right. Hands down this was the best limo service I have ever had! Not to mention, this place had the best prices I could find. I emailed around 6 different places, and finally ended up going with Charmed Limousine because of the reviews and the price. I booked a limo for 6 hours for Sunday March 6th. Despite a experiencing a personal emergency, Dave drove our group from the South Bay to Sausalito on a Thursday evening during rush hour traffic. The limo was pristinely clean and the ride was overall comfy with 8 adults. Rather than Dave canceling due to the unforeseen situation as many Limo drivers may have done (understandably), he instead demonstrated a high level of professionalism and pride in the service he provided which resulted in an overall fun and safe evening. After doing a lot of research, I am glad to have hired Charmed Limo for a round-trip wine tour from Mountain View to Napa. Dave, the owner, was the quintessential limo chauffeur--professional, courteous, excellent communication skills, and an overall great driver (no spills or drink in face!).The limo was on-time, in very good condition, and had plenty of room for four women and all our goody bags. Nice satellite/CD/DVD & A/C systems. Android & Apple phone charges readily available. I got Dave as my driver for my senior prom and he was amazing. He accommodated all of my needs and he was so nice. Being high school students, my entire group did not have our money at the moment and he allowed us to pay afterwards, even calling to confirm if he could charge the card at that moment. He also gave us an amazing discount. This limo service and Dave exceeded my expectations. He even went over his time limit to ensure that my friends and I were satisfied. I used this service for my friends birthday and it was a BLAST!!  Dave was very professional and courteous.  He showed up 15 min early and accommodated to all of our stops.  I also did some price comparisons with other limo services and I found Charmed to be very reasonable.  The limo was very clean and spacious.  We got the limo for three hours and we drove from San Jose to San Mateo on the 101, across the bridge and back to San Jose from the 880.  I would DEF use this limo service again for another occasion! My friends and I contracted with Charmed Limo for our annual wine tasting trip to Napa. Dave showed up on time and gave us the run down on the limo (music, air conditioning, champagne/water/sodas, lights, etc. ), but as we were about to drive off from SF, something snapped beneath the car, rendering the limo un-driveable. Dave quickly explained the situation, and immediately started making calls to find us a back-up car for our trip. Charmed had another car available to take us, but it was located in the south bay and would take about 90 mins to get to us. Dave continued to make some calls, and after about 20 minutes, he was able to get another limo company to accommodate us, and we were on the road to Napa within the hour. He explained that the cost to us would be the same, and he would pay for any difference in the cost. So, despite not using Charmed for our trip, I appreciated the customer service and would reach out to them again for my limo needs. More...

For my sister's birthday, her boyfriend chartered a limousine to take us and 5 other guests to Napa Valley for wine tasting. This was my first time in a limousine and it was so great!We were running a few minutes late but Dave, our chauffeur, was totally patient and told us not to worry. Once we got into the limo, he explained all the amenities that came with it (please bear with me, this was my first time in a limo so I'm not entirely sure of what does come with a limo besides what I see on t.v) and when we requested he make a u-turn so we could pick up some orange juice he did so with no hesitation whatsoever. When we got to Napa, he was more than happy to take our pictures. After our first winery stop, when we returned the limo, all the cups and wine glasses we used were cleaned and re-stocked. We spent a little more time than expected at the first winery stop that we kind of was in a rush for the second winery stop. However, Dave was very patient and kindly informed us that we needed to head back on the road. It was our fault that we made Dave run a little late so that was understandable. Overall, we had a great time! There were a lot of toasts to Dave and the birthday trip was a success. I'm a huge stickler for customer service and saw that there was one review that said Dave was rude and condescending. I'm not sure if this is a legitimate reviewer commenting on the service (nowadays Yelp has changed their standards which I find goes directly against what they're offering but that's neither here nor there), but I don't see how Dave could be rude or condescending at all. He's very personable, patient, friendly, and for driving people around all day, he has such enthusiasm and charisma for what he's doing. I would definitely recommend Charmed Limousine Service if you ever need one in the area!I also forgot to mention that there is a charger for almost all phones, which was totally helpful because we were using up our battery throughout the day for pictures. I used the Charmed Limousine Service for a bachelorette trip to Sonoma, and I am very happy with the service I received. Here is why:Reservation process:- Responsive: Dave is reachable via phone and email, with very quick turn around time. - Very organized:  he kept track of my inquiry and quote from the first time I called, even though I didn't even give him my name the first time.
