Come here almost every Wednesday when I take my kids to bands practice!! I have to say yummy yummy yummy!!! The cookies to the brownies are so yummy i never know what i want. Charlie's has been serving up sweet treats since the 1970s and is now run by Charlie's son, so you're supporting a real family business when you spend your money here. We always order our special occasions cakes from Charlie's; they have tons of cake flavors and icings to choose from. My personal favorites are the carrot cake and the red velvet. My mom swears by this bakery because it reminds her of the "real bakeries" like in Philly. This year she insisted that I order my birthday cake from here. I have to say, it was delicious. Charlie's is an Orlando staple that has served the area for as long as I can remember. Though some of their items can be on the expensive side this is a true case of "you get what you pay for".
Everything from their cakes to their cookies are some of the best in town both in look and taste. The only thing I can say they aren't that great with is their quesitos as they aren't very authentic and I much prefer a true authentic Cuban bakery for that kind of thing.
The latest visit my wife and I stopped in for a couple danishes and some coffee before work and loved ever bite. This was my wife's first time here and she was in awe of everything they had in the display and immediately wanted to go back for more once she took her first bite.
If you have a sweet tooth or a cake worthy event you owe it to yourself to try out this little bakery that has been around forever. Trust me, the cakes at the big green P can't hold a candle to the masterpieces at Charlie's.

I love Charlie’s. Parker house rolls, checkerboard cake, oatmeal cream pies all amazing. Get there early they sell out if items by the evening time
