What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
First of all listening to your client's expectations and needs of the image you are going to produce, knowing the specifics of each shoot and studying the approach you need to take to ensure a successful result.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
In my opinion its key that the customer knows what he is expecting from the image, and what he intends to communicate with the end product.
Its vital to me as a photographer to know what the client expects from the image as a marketing tool, and the usage he intends to give to the image.
Also very important is for him to have an idea of how much he wants to spend in his project.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting people from all walks of life and learning about different things, through their projects. Never a dull day and you never ever stop learning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After High school I enrolled into the Art Institute of Colorado and got a Professional Diploma in Photography, after that I have completed several masters courses and specialized workshops.
Since I first started creating photographs I knew it was what I wanted to pursue as a formal career and my passion for the trade continues to be extremely gratifying. The freedom and challenges being a freelancer provide is what made me pursue a career as a Professional Freelance Photographer, and now as a Studio Owner.
