My husband and I got married about a year ago and this review is overdue. I did want to take this opportunity to share the amazing experience we had working with Charley. Our pictures were amazing and I am very picky when it comes to seeing pictures of myself. The pictures were truly beautiful and Charley was able to capture it all. The photos were natural and unique, which is exactly what we wanted. Charley has a gift and an eye for the perfect shots. He caught a lot of special moments of my husband and I smiling and laughing. It was us! He knew where we needed to be and the time to take the pictures so that we would get the perfect shots. Our pictures were sent to us less than a week after our wedding (we were shocked on how quick they were ready). There were so many to choose from. When it came time to create our album, I was overwhelmed and Charley helped us the whole way. The wedding album, our same day edit, trailer, and video were perfect and really allows us to relive this amazing day. Charley was our photographer for our wedding at the Water Witch Club. We met with several photographers, but as soon as we left our meeting with Charley, we knew we were going to book him. Not only are his pictures amazing, he is a lot of fun and very easy to work with. He was one of the best vendors we booked. Charley and his assistant were so professional, accommodating and captured really beautiful moments from our wedding that we will cherish forever. I just got married on Saturday and I am already leaving Charley a review because he deserves to be called “the best photographer ever! !!” Steven and I attended Steven’s cousins wedding three years ago and we were absolutely blown away by the amazing photography and videography he did for that wedding! When Steven proposed a year later I thought planning would be a lot of work but I knew right away who I wanted for the photography!!! It was Charley! I remember booking him right away, just knowing that two years later at our wedding he’d do an amazing job. That day he was not only early for my scheduled time... he brought with him the most amazing team to capture all the important moments of our day! They took everything into their own hands, made sure Steven and I enjoyed every second of the day, and not for one second did I feel stressed! The wedding was just three days ago and he is already sending me some of the amazing and perfect shots from that day and he hasn’t even sent me everything yet. My husband and I used Charley for our engagement photos and our wedding photos. During both shoots, Charley was undeniably talented and creative with his photography skills. He knew exactly what he wanted and how to get incredible shots that we are completely impressed by. On our wedding day, we had a Nor'easter. My husband and I both REALLY wanted outdoor shots before that day, however, the weather did not make that possible- but hey, good luck to have rain on your wedding day, right? Charley and his assistant Chris reassured us and comforted us that he would make it work to get the best photos of our special day and boy, did he!!! His creativity in using the space and opportunities that he had made for INCREDIBLE photos! They exude the love we have for each other and our family and friends. We can feel the energy and expression with each and every one and it is SO hard to choose a favorite. Charley made me and my bridesmaids feeling completely comfortable as we got ready with his calm, friendly, and funny demeanor. Our wedding was 8-5-18 and I cannot say enough about The Bleu Studio! They were the first photographer we looked at and we knew we didn't have to look any further. Brian was amazing to work with, so much fun, flexible and incredibly talented. The entire team overall from those in the office to our second photographer and videographer were the best. When the time came to plan our wedding, I knew there were two things I would absolutely NOT skimp on: our entertainment/DJ company and our photographer. Our decision to go with Charley Sweet Photography is one of the best we made and if we could do it all over again, he'd would still be our pick. I knew from being in other weddings that an outstanding photographer is essential to the big day because they spend a lot of the time not just capturing special moments but directing your day by virtue of the photos that need to be taken. Charley is SO incredibly easy to work with and has such a calm, cool, collected vibe that in turn he made everyone else feel the same. Charley and his team went above and beyond for our photos as well as for our videography (the Same Day Edit was AMAZING, we can't wait for the full video!). I cannot stop going through the photos of our big day and rewatching our SDE and reliving every moment. I am excitedly awaiting our albums and videos. I wish I could give him more than 5 stars! We had a great experience with Charley. He was the photographer for our wedding in September 2015 when he was working with another company (although at that time we didn't deal with anyone other than Charley, himself). We found him to be very straightforward, easy to deal with, and loved his creative photos. He customized a wedding package to our needs (we swapped out 1-2 things we didn't want and swapped in what we did want). He had our pictures ready a month after the wedding, as promised. We were VERY happy with the results. Exactly what we were expecting with some additional really creative and unexpected shots (we thought it was a really nice surprise and nice touch that there were a bunch of "couple" photos of guests that attended our wedding - e.g. my aunt and uncle together, my friend and her husband, my coworker and his wife etc). We also had an engagement photo shoot with Charley and were equally pleased with the creative photos he took for us that day as well. Charley was very quick to answer our questions and respond to our requests throughout the wedding planning process and helped us create a timeline for the day that worked out perfectly. He was incredibly easy to deal with on the day of and was patient with requests for pictures including trying to have sometimes not-so-cooperative ring bearers as part of our family photos :) We are excited that Charley is out on his own now and would definitely recommend setting up a meeting with Charley if you're looking for a wedding photographer! AMAZING is a pure under statement!! Charley was the photographer at both my sisters weddings and I knew immediately after getting engaged I wanted to book him. There are not enough words to describe how awesome his work is. He is extremely helpful, professional, well priced and has an eye for great shots! He made himself available throughout our whole planning process and was the most responsive vendor we worked with. Charley and his team did an amazing job photographing and videoing our wedding on July 7, 2018. I had some really crazy ideas with a lot of moving parts, and Charley was more than accommodating to help me make my dream a reality. Our wedding day went by in a flash (as EVERYONE warns you it will), and Charley did a perfect job of capturing all of the little moments throughout the day. He went above and beyond (even laying on the ground to get the perfect shot), directing myself, my husband, and the wedding party so we all looked like models in the photos. I cannot say enough good things about Brian and his team. From our first meeting, to the end of our wedding night, it was nothing short of an amazing experience. They have fun with you and make you feel comfortable while taking your photos, that you don’t even realize you are standing their getting your picture taken. Bleu studio was an absolute pleasure to work with from the very beginning. From the first meeting with them, we explained exactly what we were looking for. These guys (and ladies) went completely above and beyond to make our day spectacular. We had an early wedding (10 am) and needed to wake up at 4 am to get ready. By the time the guys arrived, (7am), us girls were starting to get a little sleepy. These guys came in and got the party started! They made all pictures fun & exciting.
