Absolutely perfect!! I went here for a manicure/pedicure and it was by far the best service I have ever received! Stephanie is so good at what she does and really works to not only give you top quality service but to get to know you and what your nails and skin need to be restored to their true underlying beauty. My nails and surrounding skin have never felt healthier! Everything was clean and comfortable, and the polish selection was top notch. The atmosphere in the salon itself was tranquil and just what I needed to relax. Lordis Spa and Salon gives outstanding professional service. I was attending a wedding and desperately needed help! Sarah gave me a wonderful haircut. She didn’t cut it too short which so many do! She didn’t rush and involved me in the process. The nail spa is in a lovely room in a tranquil setting. There is not a line up of multiple peditubs. Stephanie, who has an excellent knowledge of podiatry and nails, gave me a great pedicure. She also told me some good places to go while in Charleston, she was delightful! Found this place by simple google search, & am so glad that I did!!I wanted multiple colors, as I do high & low lights, plus base.  I love it, she did a fabulous job on the color.  I have very thick hair, so I need to get my hair thinned often. Again it came out perfect.I got a deep conditioner for my dry hair after my color. I spent the day with waxing, and then a pedicure for a full day of treatments. This is a great way to spend the day! Jaclyn did my cut and highlights today and did a terrific job. She was meticulous in her effort and the result shows. Most important, I appreciated how she honored my request for a new look. Best haircut I've had in about 5 years!! Sarah Widener is amazing and as long as I live in Charleston she will be my hair stylist no matter how long I have to wait for an appointment. I moved here in February and my last salon experience was tragic. I have really long, light brown, very wavy hair and wanted gradual, natural looking balayage with a beachy layered cut. I spent $230+ and 6 hours in what was the best salon in my area to have a truly terrible haircut that was rushed (but HOW?!?!) and color that was about as far from "natural, like I've just spent a lot of time in the sun" as one could get. I was so devastated by the color, (which was all over yellow blonde!!!) that I wore my hair up for four weeks, even at home with my husband. I was so focused on the botched color, I didn't even notice that one side was two inches longer than the other until Sarah showed me! Sarah worked magic on my hair!!! We talked about my hair disaster and I felt much better having a professional tell me I wasn't overreacting, that it really looked like someone had no idea what they were doing. She listened and did exactly what I asked and I can't wait to go back. I love my long hair and I'm considering going shorter just to have her cut it again. Wonderful Experience!!!!We asked Lordis Loft to do the bride and wedding party's hair and makeup for my daughter's wedding November 2016 at the Loris Loft. They graciously opened the salon to all of us (17 people!!!), accommodated every bridesmaid's wish for hair and makeup and made us all feel so special the afternoon of the wedding. The coordinator kept us all on time and helped make everyone feel welcome! Lacey did an amazing job with the my daughter's hair (the bride) and makeup as well as mine! It was a very lovely day for all of us and we are so grateful that everyone at Lordis Loft made us look and feel very beautiful for this special day! Two girlfriends and I were visiting Charleston and looking for a place to get the works done - massage, facials, mani/pedis, blowouts, all of it - and we looked for some place reasonably priced. Lordis was centrally located, priced below most other spas we checked, and offered the services we wanted, so we booked it. They treated us so well! They were very accommodating with the schedule, working it all out so we didn't have to wait too long between treatments, and the spa area is well separated from the salon, so there was no bleed-through of noise or aroma.The spa rooms were warm but not too warm, the music was calming, the massage was transcendent, the 'firming' facial was very soothing and still has my face looking firmer days later, my nails still look great, and I'm trying to figure out a way to get back to Charleston to do it all over again! Jaclyn, Alana, Alexis, the wonderful woman who did the facials but I didn't catch her name, the lovely lady behind the counter, they were all just terrific, and so sweet and attentive. I went to have my hair and make-up done with Lordis Loft Salon and Spa for my wedding and I must say that Lacy went above and beyond to make the entire experience so memorable for me. She was so accommodating and did such a wonderful job with both my hair and makeup. The rest of the staff were amazing and the pedicure was very relaxing and left my feet feeling extremely great. I have been going to Lordis Loft since we moved to Charleston over a year ago. I had been with an Aveda Salon I loved in Ohio for more than 20 years so was worried I would find a salon I loved.  No worry! Lacy at Loris Loft exceeded my expectationsl! I love it here! Just moved to Charleston so I had to find a new place. After reading a lot of reviews on yelp I went with this salon and it being an Aveda salon did sway my choice. I called and asked for a suggestion of a stylist for thin hair and they recommended Tara. I get my hair colored and decided to go with a new style so I was nervous. Tara is great, while the cut is a little shorter and darker than I wanted, I like it. I realize that if she had gone longer I would be back in there sooner to get it trimmed. I highly recommend the salon.Just wanted to update this review, I LOVE my hair. I think I was in shock because I haven't had this short in a long time. Since moving to Charleston, I've been in constant search of a great hair stylist. I've been to many salons and I never was completely satisfied with the service, until I went to Lordis salon. The salon itself was very relaxing and beautifully put together. My hair stylist was Jaclyn and I can't say enough about her. I needed a touch up because of my gray hair coming through and she did a great job blending it with the color that was already in my hair. I really always hate my haircuts, and since I've started going to Jaclyn, I have loved every single one! Jaclyn brought my hair much lighter than I have ever had and I absolutely love it! Every time I go to her, I close my eyes and know it's going to be amazing when she is done. She makes me extremely comfortable the whole time, and always gives me amazing pointers to keep my hair easily styled afterwards. I have naturally dark brown hair, and she brought it pretty blonde for the first time. I was nervous about the upkeep, but she used a shadow root that turned out amazing, and I have only had to get it touched up once in 6 months. The last time I went to her she treated it, toned it, and gave me an adorable bob. She also taught me how to curl it, so I could do it on my own at home! I have honestly never enjoyed getting my hair done more! I suggest going to Jaclyn to all of my friends and family. Can't wait for my next appointment! More...

I couldn't say more positive things about this salon and the owner, Linzie. I have been searching for YEARS to finally find the person who could achieve the super natural, not overly bleached and super chunky blonde highlight look I have always desired. Linzie takes the time to look over multiple pictures with you, she talks you through every step of the process, and she is a master with color. She takes detailed notes about the processes she does with your hair and takes the time to prepare herself to talk to you before you even come in to familiarize herself with you and see if you want to stick with what you have or make any sort of changes. I recently got a haircut with her and was debating to put in long layers. When I finally decided to keep it all one length, she so sweetly told me that if I changed my mind in the next week, just to pop in and she would be happy to put them in for me. This salon goes above and beyond to make sure you are 100% happy with your services and to top it all off, this is BY FAR the most reasonably priced Aveda salon I have EVER been to! I appreciate her attention to detail and the way she makes you feel like a top client and will be going to Linzie at Lordis Loft until I'm in the grave! haha More...

Dana is magic. Well worth the drive downtown! I love the head massage she starts with (she's an awesome massage therapist, too! )...it puts you in a trance. The whole experience is so relaxing and the cut is always spot on. I have "good hair days" for a week after I see her. I have been going to Lordis for over 3 years. First time i had to come in i was wearing a baseball hat and sunglasses to hide the tears- i had to see Mrs. Dana - she was highly recommended by a friend as The Best Hair Colorist in Charleston!.... my friend is from the upper crust wealthy old Chas family- usually flies to NYC for cuts and color, however, when in Chas - Mrs.Dana is the only one she trusts her hair to...Long story short- Mrs.Dana Saved My Hair!!!! She Repaired the damage done by the Owner of another Chas Salon which will remain unnamed and i was a Convert!.... Over the years i only see Mrs.Dana and i am Constantly getting compliments on my hair! People just ask if "those are Highlights or a Naturally Sun Kissed Hair?..." She truly is the best.... Mrs.Dana always does such a good job on my cut and color! She listens to what I want and delivers!!! She is Super caring and very knowledgeable about the whole Aveda line... and she is a Color Goddess in my book...Mrs.Dana has also became a Licensed Massage Therapist - yey!!!! Her massages are Truly Amazing! She really has a Magic Touch that just knows what your body needs- simply Brilliant!! I have had some very exclusive massages in various SPAs around the world- hers are on par with the best of them.
