Did our first chocolate workshop at the Chappel Chocolate House today. It was fantastic. So interesting and taught us so much. Would highly recommend for all budding chocolatiers! My team from work did the shoe making workshop on Saturday as we were celebrating a big birthday. It was such a lovely experience for the 3 of us and we shared it with a group of 5 other lovely ladies. The chocolate is gorgeous and Sarah who runs the workshop is so helpful and has such a nice way about her. I thoroughly enjoyed creating my shoe, it looked amazing and I felt so proud of it that I haven’t been able to bring myself to eat it yet! We also made truffles which was easier than I thought and was taught how to temper chocolate to get that lovely sheen. Included in the workshop price was drinks on arrival, lunch and a glass of bubbly. All in all a great experience and great value for something uniquely different. Had a great day at the Truffles and Bubbles Event at New Hall Vineyard. We made some delicious chocolate truffles with the help of Sarah and Julia from Chappel Chocolate House and tasted some lovely wines - thanks to Lucy. Would thoroughly recommend this.

Thank you to Sarah and Julia for our fabulous Chocolate Making Workshop for the North East Essex Psychology team! We had a wonderful time tempering chocolate and making some delicious chocolate bars/bouquets! We really enjoyed our Easter Egg making morning at the Chappel Chocolate shop. We were made very welcome and learnt a lot, ending up with our own perfect eggs and hand made truffles. I had my hen do at Chappel Chocolate house and it was absolutely perfect. The staff are friendly and welcoming and so accommodating, they let us drink bubbly to our hearts content whilst we made the most delicious chocolates I have ever eaten! We went to the drop in lolly workshop today, the lady running it was so helpful especially considering my little boy wasn’t exactly in the mood to decorate the lolly he was finally won round and we had fun decorating the lolly and he loved eating the end result, will definitely be coming back they made me feel at ease considering the mood my nearly 4 year old was in when we went to start the session. I can’t recommend enough.

Brilliant demo and workshop this evening. I learnt so much and had great fun. Lovely to try some of the different chocolates while we made our chocolate bar and I enjoyed looking (and spending! ) in the shop which was very well presented and had some really lovely and unusual chocolates.
