What inspired you to start your own business?
Have always been a self-starter and entrepreneur - my parents owned a retail lady's apparel and grew up working in that. One of my greatest influences was Dr. Paul Baker, founder of the Dallas Theater Center and Booker T. Washington H.S. of Performing & Visual Arts - I studied under him at both institutions. He taught a theory he wrote many books about called "Integration of Abilities." IA emphasized the need to learn all aspects of production from writing to design to directing to performing to technical execution - and a common vocabulary relating to the line, rhythm and color of a scene that everyone could relate to. Because of these two great influences: Dr. Baker and my parents, I developed well-rounded skills and the belief in myself to be in business for myself.
