Chanbury’s are exceptional, taking pizza to the next level! They catered for the first evening of our wedding weekend and our guests are still talking about how brilliant they were two months later! The pizzas are really tasty, thought has gone into them and the system meant that there was always a fresh supply of hot pizza for everyone. Chanbury’s catered at our recent country garden wedding and the pizza was fantastic! From the moment first contact was made with Chanburys a 5* service was delivered. Communication was fantastic, polite and friendly. Chantelle and Pete stepped in at the last minute when our original caterer pulled out. If only we had found Chanburys first! Nothing was too much trouble, the whole experience of dealing with Chanburys was completely stress free. Chantelle and Pete were amazing, all our guests commented on how delicious the food was, our Vegan guests and fussy children were well looked after. What’s your signature dish?
When in Rome -
Fennel salami, Nduja, chorizo, roquito pepper peals, San Marzano tomato, mozzarella, oregano, Parmesan & fresh basil.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We endeavour to accommodate requests where ever possible. Personal service is our forte. There isn't much that can' be cooked in a wood fired oven. Our packages reflect the best of Devon, Cornwall coupled with the traditional Italian favourites.
What do you love most about your job?
Making people happy is the number one. In doing so the occasion needs to be seamless & memorable. It's nice when we hear weeks later our food is still being talked about. It's a delight to put a menu together that our customers love and enjoy. I try to work with seasonal produce for specials such as crab in the summer or figs and blossom honey in the winter.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Creative freedom and the desire to have something of our own.
