Nice to have a mooch around but a few of the shops are a little pricey to make a casual purchase. Recommend the animal area if travelling with kids. . Will try the cafe next time.

Sadly a shadow of what it used to be. Hardly any small affordable shops now and almost all the space it taken over by cafes which are expensive. I used to love coming to the markets and gift shops here but alas those days have gone and even the animal paddocks were not what they used to be with less animals and the walkways very very muddy. Stopped there for foods and drinks over the weekend, safe to say that it was not disappointed at all. You got a few choices of restaurants in the main food hall. We went for Asian and burgers. Sushi was super fresh specially the crispy crab one ( recommended) and spicy tuna too was also good. All of the food we order has not been disappointed at all. Been many times. Very Good choice of Food in The Barn, from 3 different Establishments. Xmas 'experience' very poor. £11.95 per person for a muddy field and a handful of animals that took a sum total of 10 mins to get round. Plus extra money for Reindeer food. 12 of us went so you're talking nearly 120 quid for all that.
