Very nice venue. I was there for a political rally, but think it would be an ideal place for concerts and other social events.

I was there for a FightLab event.. The event itself was well put on,, organized and the staff was courteous..

This venue is not however an ideal place for an event like this. . general admission seating should not be so far away that one needs to stand for the whole event just to be able to see over those that crowded around ringside seating.. it was even hard to see if one purchased bleacher seating (which I felt was overpriced for what it was)..
I enjoy the FightLab events and hope they find a better suited venue to hold them in..

I was concerned with the seating,, it was very hard to see from general admission seating and from the bleacher seating near the cage;; however,, after having spoke with the promoter Kenny regarding some adjustment requests,, I look forward to returning to this venue and seeing how well these adjustments will improve the experience of the FightLab events..

There for a fight lab event. The staff was very polite. It was an excellent venue for this event. The only draw backs... the acoustics or sound system made it hard to understand the announcer at times and the bar was in an area that caused alot of congestion in one area and made it hard to maneuver on and off the viewing area

I would like to make an update to my review. Just talked to Kenny owner of fightlab and he said my concerns are going to be addressed. I would drive 3hrs again in a heartbeat to see a fightlab event in this venue.

We've hosted two events at CenterStage and found the staff very helpful. Their support was critical to our successful fundraisers, and the venue has a WOW factor that can't be beat.

This was a great venue for the concert we attended. The space has a well-controlled climate, very clean overall, and afforded a lot of room for people to gather . It was well-suited to the musical group that came, as they decided to hold a concert "in the round" - a very intimate feel, which was unexpected for a multipurpose space like this.

Keep this place in mind for your next large gathering event!

The CenterStage@NoDa staff was very professional and provided a good experience throughout the card tournament we held in Feb 2018. The tournament attendees enjoyed the environment, felt the venue was cozy while also providing space enough to hold several hundred attendees.

CenterStage@NoDa staff gave me, as the Tournament Organizer, appropriate attention before and during the event to make things less stressful.

We appreciate their support.

Good place to have a worship service. Came here for elevation church's midweek experience and was left amazed at the feel of this place. Not too much better than CenterStage when it comes to event spaces in Charlotte. Comfortable couches, amazing decoration, and hip architecture. You might consider having your wedding reception here. They list a few recommended catering companies on their website to help on that front. Cool vibe to this place. I'll be back. More...

Great event space in a convenient location. The layout is open so you can style it how you'd like -- wide open with cocktail tables for a standing-only party, rows of seats for a speaking event, or something else entirely. I like the loft feel of the place and the fact that it's so close to all of the fun in NoDa. Definitely worth a look when you're planning your next event. More...

Attended a wedding here a few weeks ago. It was a spectacular venue. I noticed the staff, whether the caterer or facility staff, were very attentive and organized. The DJ could have been better, but it wasn't the venue's DJ. It was very clean throughout the night, including the bathrooms. They were on top of the trash too and even mopped up a spill before anybody really knew it was there. I guess a lot has changed since the previous review because I was quite impressed with the space itself, along with it's staff. More...

Center Stage at NoDa was wonderful; I am a recent bride and my husband and I were so pleased. Our wedding this past May 2010 was the best day of my life. My husband and I said our vows at our home church in Matthews and then made our way to Center Stage. The design was coordinated by Kaitlyn Green and Jessica Purgar; the room was filled with pink roses and cream fabrics. Needless to say I was a true bride on the day of my wedding leaving it all to the awesome staff. More...

Kamaria, we thank you for expressing your frustrations with Center Stage at NoDa. We to have had our frustrations with your Student Leadership Board and Advisors. To address your statements below it is unfair to state that we have no air conditioning and or fans; we have 6 HVAC systems and constant air flow. However; the evening of your event one of our systems was not functioning properly; and the vendors you contracted left service doors and entryway open until two hours prior to your event. At no point in time was the event shut down or closed due to the condition of the space. We followed up with the adult representatives at the school and worked with them to find a solution. Kaitlyn Green was more than excellent in customer service for your board; she met with you three times prior to the event and accommodated your budget and design. She met with your photographer on two occasions and was not even handling that aspect of your event. She spoke with the advisor and the financial assistant about her concerns with the Student Leadership Board's budget and they expressed frustrations to Center Stage about the delay of the Student Leadership board submitting the proper documentation for deposits, payments and insurance requirements. She also went so far out of her way to waive the catering fee to allow you to bring in Jason's Deli; a $2,500 dollar fee. Also 7 day prior to your event when decor contract (had been delivered several weeks out along with several modifications); Center Stage representative spoke with your accountant and she said they could not send us a deposit or payment for the decor because the Student Leadership board had not submitted it; after all effort Kaitlyn and our staff had gone to work with you and your board. Also the event insurance certificate was not presented until the Friday before the Saturday event; Insurance Certificates requirements are listed in the contract, at the signing. We understand that the exercise of the Board is to prepare you for the real world but the board would have been more successful with more adult guidance and would have been a more efficient process and efficient communication if represented by an adult. We met with school representatives; which was disclosed. Our main concern is to make you aware of our effort to apologize for the condition of the venue and our generous offer to help and make things right. If you have any questions and or concerns about this event. Please contact me, Leslie Palmer General Manager at Charlotte Arrangements. More...
