Q&As

I love supporting others to achieve more balance in their life and their view of themselves. I ssuooort clients through self awareness and enabling them to become more self accepting of themselves and where they are in the moment. Working deeply with other human beings is deeply rewarding and I enjoy connecting on that level with others. I have learnt so much about he human condition since being a counsellor and this also supports my own perspective of myself. Ultimately making me a far more patient, content, and accepting person.

Working in the NHS and for other counselling institutions only enable me to work short term with clients. For a lot of my clients a more flexible, less restrictive approach is far more beneficial and transformative for the clients. Therefore working flexibly with them on either short or long term contracts works best for them.
It also means I can work flexibly and see people in the evening or daytime to suit their needs, and balance my other work and personal commitments outside of the counselling room.

I am a very warm and approachable person. I think that I make it easy for clients to feel comfortable talking to me and feedback is regularly given that I make the space safe so that clients can explore issues that they may not want to admit to themselves.
I believe the training that I received was second to none and the continued support I give myself through more training and CPD and through my supervisor and mentor ensure that I am working to the highest standards possible.
I love my job and love supporting people to get themselves to a better place. It is a real privilege.
