I am a very critical reviewer but also fair.||||This hotel deserves 10 Stars! It is Excellent. My wife and I stayed one night on a Groupon deal. ||||All of the staff that I came into contact with were fantastic ambassadors for the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Very customer-orientated.||||At the health centre the facilities were brilliant, clean and I chatted with 3 different monthly members who spoke highly of the service. ||||The hotel room was modern, quiet and the bed, most comfortable. The TV was larger than the norm with all streaming services available.||||The food provision at dinner and breakfast were most satisfying with a fine range on offer.||||There is no problem with parking provided that you register your car correctly on the appropriate tablet. £3.00 seems very reasonable.||||A delightful time was had and this hotel deserves the credit. Nice hotel. Room was spotless and nice and warm. Had an iron and ironing board, kettle and tea and coffee, toiletries and hair dryer. Bar prices are reasonable.

A gift from my son ! |Arrived at hotel to be greeted by lovely staff, booked in and directed to leisure complex. |Lovely space ! Fab jacuzzi and pool with steam room and sauna ( we didn’t visit the gym )|After a couple of hours chilling we changed and headed to the bar where we were attended to by Ruth and Tracie ! Fabulous girls , served us with a delightful afternoon tea |After they checked everything was ok and offered more drinks |All in all a great relaxing afternoon made all the more enjoyable by fantastic staff will definitely be back again xxx More...

This hotel has been revamped since I was last here in june, I personally like this hotel as it is 5 minutes from town and straight off the motor way M1 and have themed weekends so there is alway activity the pool, spar, sauna and steam room are a bounus. The only thing I don't like about the revamp is there's no reception anymore its all self checkin I think it makes it impersonal but hay I suppose this is the way forward for them so I have to move with times, the breakfast is very good and evening meal was very nice could not fault food in any way. We had a two night stay with breakfast & evening meals. Very well presented although very busy during the daytime hours. Good food & friendly staff. We had an executive room complete with dressing gowns & slippers. Nice beds & overlaid on second night.Quiet location - our room was number 107. Can recommend. Car parking carries a small; fee but I felt the car was secure as we were near leisure centre & rear entrance hall. The swimming pool & spar pool got some use. Lovely to relax after a hard day shopping. Good value we felt as this was done via a Groupon deal. Thank you to all staff but especially to restaurant staff Toni, Laura, and Chef Jamie. Just recently stayed here as a family and giving 4 stars for the stuff. They were extremely attentive and could not do enough for you. From the reception, to bar stuff and also the spa staff, they were all very pleasant.||||However, the hotel is in dire need of renovations, the bathrooms and spa area look dirty because of the rust etc. ||||Other than that, great team and pleasant place. We had booked one nights bed and breakfast for two with a glass of Prosecco and £15 towards dinner each at a cost of around £79 so quite good value despite also having to pay for car parking £3. The self service check in was causing problems but there was a lovely lady there to help us and directed us to our room, whilst also booking a table for us for dinner which is in the bar/reception area. The bedroom was clean and comfortable although we found the window closure broken so were disturbed during the night by rowdy guests outside. Dinner was quite good though service was a bit slow as staff were also serving pre dinner drinks to guests at a function. Breakfast was good and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area and got a good deal. Staff were all pleasant and friendly but did seem stretched and rather too busy. More...

We arrived early before check in but the young lady who greeted us let us check in early which was muchley appreciated.The room was very nice clean and newly refurbished. We had a nice relaxing time using the spa facilities pool steam room sauna jacuzzi all small but fine we just rotated with other groups . Event Ng meal lotts of choice and what we had was delicious well presented and tasted lovely service for us was fast but it wasn't too busy .The bed was very comfortable breakfast very nice with lotts of choice all staff very friendly and welcoming would definitely recommend this hotel xx More...

I’m up for technology however I didn’t like how you had to check in. The hotel itself was cold. The food was nice in the restaurant, I just thought the portion sizes were a little small. One of the staff members in the restaurant was pretty rude when coming to Pay. She rolled her eyes at us as she didn’t want me and my friend to spilt the bill because it was too much of an inconvenience to her. The tv Ariel kept cutting out. Booked an overnight stay with Groupon deal. It included £15pp evening meal contribution, use of spa facilities and breakfast. ||Firstly we were welcomed by a lovely girl who was friendly and helpful. The online check in was easy. Our room was a good size with nice decor tea & coffee making facilities. The bed was a little soft for my liking & a bit squeeky. There was a blind and curtains at the window giving very good blackout. The room was very quiet. ||The only place that let the hotel down was the bathroom. It was very dated with burgundy tiles on the wall. There was a shower over the bath with black mould on part of the seal. I am not saying it was dirty as it had very obviously been cleaned but it gives a poor impression. The wall mounted hair dryer looked very old and didnt work.We had no toiletries in the bathroom at all (except for a nearly empty handwash dispenser by the sink -- not sure if these are usually provided by hotel as we had own so didnt ask) Only had about 1/4 toilet roll (got feeling that although room had been cleaned it hadnt been replenished correctly) Mentioned toilet roll at reception (girl was going to get me one there and then but was heading into restaurant so didnt want to take with me LOL should've been taken to room for us)||We used the spa facilities which were great. The guy at the desk was friendly and helpful. We signed in and were given towels and locker keys. There was a small gym which we didnt go in preferring to go for a swim in the heated pool. It has nice easy steps in with hand rails (not a ladder) and is the same depth throughout (so you can stand up at any point if you are an unconfident swimmer). The jacuzzi was big enough for 6 comfortably and was really warm and super relaxing (the pool suddenly felt cold in comparison afterwards lol) There was also a steam room and sauna. The changing room was well equipped. ||The restaurant (I understand recently refurbished) was great. All the food we had was tasty and plentiful. Because of the computerised system the staff knew we had a discount so it was very easy. Restaurant staff again very friendly. Breakfast was buffet style with a great selection (& being constantly topped up by attentive staff)||Overall the hotel was a lovely place to stay over night. Every member of staff we met without exception (even a workman in the corridor) were very friendly and are a credit to the hotel. We would definitely stay again. More...

I have been staying at this hotel for a few days a week over the last 18 months and the one thing that makes me keep coming back, is that no matter who greets you at reception, who serves you dinner or who is behind the bar, you will get a warm friendly welcome. ||Rooms are clean and comfy and standards are high throughout, so whether you are on business or pleasure I would recommend Cedar Court as a hotel that serves its purpose.
