It is a relaxing place with a chill atmosphere. There are some pretty great views of the river and you have the choice of sitting out on the deck under the outdoor fans or out on the patio and catching the ocean breeze. I have a huge family and we have come to events here many times. We have always been welcomed and treated as a part of Jose's family. Attended a writer's conference held at the retreat centre. Facilities were perfect for our usage, the house was lovely and inviting and the outdoor scenary was beautiful. This is the 2nd event I have had at Cedar Bay Retreat and I must say I am never disappointed. First event was a baby shower and the second one was a wedding reception. What I love about this place is how it is made to be a multi-use facility that appeals to all. From the beautiful flowers and gorgeous romantic view of the river to the children''s tables tables and the swing and slide for toddlers there is something for everyone to do here. They have many quaint bistro tables and chairs, a concrete patio for dancing and beautiful lighting. Also, the communication was great between myself and the retreat staff.
