Cecil Green Park House is an absolute dream of a venue to document weddings in. They really live up to their award winning name and last weekend with Sam + Betty was an absolute dream to shoot. I can't wait to be back here again soon! More...

For us, this venue was perfect and reasonable price wise. What attracted us was that they had their own catering so that saved us time having to find another caterer. They also provided tables, chairs, linens and other catering items that I'd have to rent elsewhere. Beautiful location, easy access, beautiful scenery lending a majestic backdrop to our simple and elegant decor. We feel extremely lucky to have landed this venue. Everyone raved about the scenery. Get in as soon as you can! Mariella and Carlos are extremely patient and professional. Thank you Cecil Green Park House for giving us the wedding of our dream! More...

Went for a staff dinner party , very good service, fantastic food. Only say I would have a complaint about is leaving they usher you a different way out then when you came in, We had someone in a wheel chair only to walk a long way to a set of stairs, we were like "really", but other then that we had a great time very cool old house with a lot of charm

Beautiful venue for weddings. Very kind and responsive staff. We held our ceremony outdoors in June and the pictures turned out beautifully. Indoors also very elegant. The sun room is great for photos. Please note they don’t accept other vendors except Ubc scholar for food so specific ethnic foods will not be allowed. More...

My wife and I got married here in April of this year. It's such a beautiful location. The staff we worked with were considerate and attentive. They answered emails quickly and, given the high volume of people who book with them each year, quite good with being personal. The price was good, especially with the UBC family discount rate. Lovely location, historic building, located at UBC. Support for my business meeting was excellent but food, while adequate, wasnt particularly impressive. Staff failed to provide food for those with special diets on first day - resolved this for subsequent days. Bring a sweater and your camera. More...

I got married there a couple of weeks ago - held both the ceremony and reception. We loved the venue, and our guests did as well. It's such a beautiful location, you really can't go wrong! It offers you the option of indoor or outdoor, so with fickle weather like we have in Vancouver, it's nice to have the backup. The venue is not the cheapest by any means, but we felt the beauty was worth the price. The service I found was very friendly and they really do try to accommodate; However, I do have to say, they seem disorganized a lot of the time, and staff are often "out of the office." I did feel like I was just one of their many clients, so do not expect any special attention. All in all, I have read horror stories about the venue, but that was not my experience. I got everything I wanted and needed - stress-free wedding prep and day! More...

In 1984 our Wedding Reception was held there on a very hot day in the month of June. 32 years later and everyone still talks about it. It was an incredible venue and to this this we are so glad we waited to have it there. More...

The venue itself is gorgeous for a wedding. I had my ceremony at the back covered patio area due to high chance of rain on the wedding day but it worked out wonderfully. I didn't go with catering for my wedding ceremony since we were going to have a Chinese banquet later in the evening. There was a misunderstanding between the Wescadia representative and I but I was unhappy to find out about the charge for water (moreso the beverage containers). Otherwise communication with the main Cecil Green rep Lindsay was easy and efficient over email. She is very understanding and accommodating with my questions and requests. It was a delight working with her. More...

I always visit this place summer or winter every other year since I left BC for California. Â I rate this place, underatedly stunning. It doesn't rival houses found on 17-Mile Drive down Carmel, but nothing rivals it's location atop the cliffs of Point Grey. Â Being an alumni of UBC, I could probably use this mansion, if I ever get married, as a reception hall---since that's never going to happen, I will always visit this very gorgeous mansion. More...

What a stunning place! Â My husband and I got married here last summer and the location was everything we wanted. Â The rooms and grounds were beautiful, the details were exquisite, and our guests had a fantastic time. Â It was perfect for our small (approximately 50 people) wedding. Â Ann Merling was helpful before, during, and after the wedding. Â The only drawbacks were that the catering had to be done through Wescadia and the price (for the venue and catering) were comparatively high. More...
