CeCe and Amy were so awesome! They not only wanted to catch every moment just right!! They helped deal with the torrential downpours and made sure we got our pictures in between! Can’t praise them enough for all there hard work.. through adjusting to covid changes and working with us when we had to change the venue!!! Working our animals in.. changing picture timeline to accommodate my parents who are older and wanted to leave earlier due to weather.. the gift given to us to hold our rings!! Cece is an Amazing photographer. She’s so patient and understanding and realizes that sessions are never perfect. Had a photo shoot done with my wife and dogs on the beach. She created some amazing photos during this session. I have never had professional photos done but I can honestly say I am absolutely thrilled with the result! What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Knowing our clients and understanding their vision is first on the list! We can be the best photographers in the world in terms of skill and ability, but if our style and vision doesn’t align with the client's, then none of us will probably be happy with the end result. That’s why we always try to schedule a consult with clients and send them a questionnaire, so we can get to know each other before our session/event. Then come photo time, it feels less like we’re strangers and more like we’re friends. Second to that is making sure our clients feel relaxed and have fun during their session or event. While we take some posed shots, the photos our clients often like the best are those candid moments where we’re just joking around and having fun. The third and final key is choosing the right location, time of day and equipment. Location and time of day are particularly important because we want to ensure we have the best lighting and scenery, so the end result is those magazine worthy photos. For events like weddings and parties that may be indoors, however, we don’t always have control over the location or lighting. That’s when having the right equipment becomes crucial in order to ensure the end result turns out to be just as amazing as if we shot outdoors in natural light.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It really depends on the type of session or event. During the initial consult, our focus is on getting to know and understand the clients’ vision for the session or event as well as helping them understand our process and style. We also send our clients a questionnaire that helps us gather the more specific details needed to plan a session that is going to deliver the amazing photos and experience they want and deserve. If it’s a wedding, for instance, we're going to ask questions about any special activities they’re planning (such as a first look or gift exchange), the wedding party, their families, and of course, the couple - like how did they meet, when did they know they had found “the one,” what’s next after the honeymoon. This all lends to us not only ensuring an amazing wedding photography experience but also getting to know them better.
What do you love most about your job?
We love connecting with new couples and families, being part of their journey and seeing the progression and changes throughout the years. It’s such an honor and privilege to bear witness to such important and momentous events and milestones like the joining of two hearts or the arrival of a sweet little human.
What inspired you to start your own business?
CeCe Kermie's passion for photography started when she was in high school, and she came across her mom's old Nikon film camera and decided to do a little photo shoot with her BFF, Cyndi. In 2003, she turned that passion into a career as a military photojournalist, and it was life changing. Over the years, her passion developed into a deep love for the beauty of documenting amazing people living their best lives. From day one of launching our business, our commitment has been and will always be to diligently balance the costs of running a successful business with providing high quality products and services for others just like us who are working hard everyday to earn enough to cover their living/business expenses and enjoy making memories with their loved ones.

We strive to ensure our clients enjoy and love their experience so much, the only reason they don’t feel sad when it’s over is because they know they’ve made a lifelong friend.

It is our preference to conduct consultations and planning meetings via phone or video call. For clients who are booking coverage for a wedding, however, we request they meet us onsite at their chosen venue at one month prior to their event for a location planning session and walkthrough of the photography/event timeline.
