Cece is an Amazing photographer. She’s so patient and understanding and realizes that sessions are never perfect. Had a photo shoot done with my wife and dogs on the beach. She created some amazing photos during this session. I have never had professional photos done but I can honestly say I am absolutely thrilled with the result! If you need a photographer she’s your girl. Oh and here’s a bonus.. she will travel to your location no matter where you are!!! Trust me when I say you won’t be disappointed! More...

Q&A

Knowing my clients and understanding their vision is first on the list! I can be the best photographer in the world in terms of skill and ability, but if my style and vision doesn’t align with my clients’, then neither of us will probably be happy with the end result. That’s why I always try to schedule a consult with my clients and send them a questionnaire, so we can get to know each other before our session/event. Then come photo time, it feels less like we’re strangers and more like we’re friends. Second to that is making sure my clients feel relaxed and have fun during their session or event. While we take some posed shots, the photos my clients often like the best are those candid moments where we’re just joking around and having fun. The third and final key is choosing the right location, time of day and equipment. Location and time of day are particularly important because we want to ensure we have the best lighting and scenery, so the end result in those magazine worthy photos. For events like weddings and parties that may be indoors, however, we don’t always have control over the location or lighting. That’s when having the right equipment becomes crucial in order to ensure the end result turns out to be just as amazing as if we shot outdoors in natural light.

It really depends on the type of session or event. During the initial consult, my focus is on getting to know and understand the clients’ vision for the session or event as well as helping them understand my process and style. I also send my clients a questionnaire that helps me gather the more specific details needed to plan a session that is going to deliver the amazing photos and experience they want and deserve. If it’s a wedding, for instance, I’m going to ask questions about any special activities they’re planning (such as a first look or gift exchange), the wedding party, their families, and of course, them - like how did they meet, when did they know they had found “the one,” what’s next after the honeymoon. This all lends to me not only ensuring an amazing wedding photography experience but also getting to know them better, so that I can write a personalized blog piece that they can add to their memory book and share with their loved ones.

Connecting with new couples and families who often turn out to be lifelong friends. I love being part of their journey and seeing the progression and changes throughout the years. It’s such an honor and privilege to bear witness to such important and momentous events and milestones like the joining of two hearts or the arrival of a sweet little human.

I wanted to ensure people just like me can document those special moments and important milestones - without having to decide which one of their bills they’re going to pay late. That’s why from day one of launching Cece Kermie Photography, my commitment has been and will always be to diligently balance the costs of running a successful business that yields enough income for me to cover my business expenses and support my family with the importance of providing affordable, high quality products and services for others like me who are working hard everyday to make enough money to pay the bills, put food on the table, and maybe have enough left over to make some memories with their loved ones. I don’t promise things like an “award winning” Website, “bonus” gifts, or other “freebies” because I know that adds to my overhead and inevitably affects the prices I have to charge to recoup my business costs and care for my family. I do promise I will invest in only those tools, training, and resources I believe are absolutely necessary for me to serve my clients to the best of my ability and deliver the highest quality products and services at the lowest possible cost.

There are a ton of talented photographers out there, but my experience combined with my passion for serving my clients make me the best choice. I strive to ensure my clients enjoy and love their experience so much, the only reason they don’t feel sad when it’s over is because they know they’ve made a lifelong friend.
