Cayley Black Photography

Update: Cayley has reached out to me and has rectified the situation fully and agreed to provide services for the deposit amount. She has been professional and kind in this matter and I appreciate what she’s done to fix this. I am adjusting my rating to reflect this. We had booked in our wedding with Cayley and given her a $500 deposit to book the date. She had not given us any terms upon booking or discussed anything with us besides date and times of wedding. I tried to arrange our phone call to discuss things on different occasions with no response from Cayley. 6 months before the date, only a few months after booking, our wedding plans fell through. Cayley then told us the deposit was non refundable which she had not told us previously. I was understanding on the no refund policy and asked if it could be applied to either a future wedding date if we could rebook, or a family photo package. She agreed to this. Upon messaging Cayley to try and arrange either of these services in the future, she has ignored my messages, thus walking away with our $500 and not providing any services to us. Although the first time we worked with her for our daughters cake smash, the photos were beautiful and she was pleasant, I do not recommend Cayley Black Photography for this reason.
