What a place this is, unfortunately we only found it on the last day of our stay in Belfast as we had been going for our breakfast in wetherspoons ( dont its terrible) The causeway is fantastic from the staff who are very polite and cheerful to the food which is truly amazing. Not just saying it but the cooked breakfast myself and my family had is the best I've ever had, quality and quantity and value for money it's all here, I even told the staff and they were chuffed to bits, you can tell they take pride in their work, try it you won't be disappointed. What a fab little find! The cafe is attached to a youth hostel, making prices here very reasonable. After an early flight, we were so excited to try the Belfast Breakfast and it didn't disappoint! Cafe is part of the the International Hostel, it is excellent value with a wide selection of food, vegetarian and vegan options are available. Great breakfast foods, and so reasonably priced! I got the Ulster Breakfast, which kept me full for hours, along with a Turkish Delight Hot Chocolate made with soy milk, and it was fantastic. Hubby got something with pancakes and bacon, and a cafe latte with soy, and in total it only cost us £16, which was extremely reasonable for the amount and quality of food we had.The wait was sort of long to get food (this was on a Sunday around brunch time), but we sat back and just enjoyed our drinks while we waited. It's attached to the hostel, and there are plenty of long tables, so you could probably strike up an interesting conversation with hostellers from around the world, if you were so inclined! More...

The food was brilliant and if u couldn't find something to like then there is something wrong! Better than the food was the first class service, I don't think I have ever walked into a business and been given such a warm welcome to me my wife and son. The gentleman that greeted us couldn't have been more hospitable and kind. He showed us to the snug area so our son was able to have a bit of freedom to walk without him escaping and kept the draft off us when the door was opening and closing!
