Chad is a great, supportive coach and teacher. I went to Chad because I lost my confidence and was unhappy with my body. Throughout my life, I fluctuated in my weight. I tried meal replacement shakes, Special K diet, working out (but ate unhealthy), and fasting. I love working out but my issue was not eating right! Chad advised me about my eating habits by suggesting healthy, nutritious meal preps, what to order when going out to restaurants, and controlling my sweet tooth. Desserts were my weakness! I learned to be accountable for what I was eating. By the second month, I lost 8 pounds and 3 inches from my waist!!! Also, I gained upper body and core strength which Chad and I focused on improving. I went from doing 2 push ups to 13 push ups and planking from 56 seconds to 2 minutes! My goal wasn’t to diet for the short run, I wanted to gain a healthy lifestyle for the long run. My clothes fit A LOT better and gained back confidence! If I can do this with a full-time job (and a part- time job!), then you can too! Do this for yourself and be healthy, your body will appreciate it! The results speak for themselves... In my first 6 weeks I have dropped 13.8 pounds, 2.5% body fat, and lost almost 3 inches from my waist, all the while building muscle! I have tried many methods to get fit in the past without very much success. I knew what I had to do but never seemed able to commit. I had just about given up when I decided to give Coach Chad a call and hear what he had to say.I started working out with Coach James in early February. He has consistently provided support, pushed me, encouraged me, and celebrated a series of small wins (which eventually grew into more tangible results). I am at the point where I look forward to my personal coaching sessions.I have learned how to work out more efficiently and have been reminded how to eat better nutritionally. Most importantly, I feel accountable now, both to the program and to myself. That has made all the difference. I walked into Cause and Effects Fitness a year ago frustrated and terrified. Frustrated that my body did not reflect the image of the strong, confident person I knew I was and terrified that I would fail to ever become that person. Coaches Chad, Chelsea and James have been beside me every step of the way supporting, encouraging, and pushing me to change habits, improve my fitness, and live a healthier life. I have lost a significant amount of weight in the past year, but I have gained so much more: healthy eating habits, will power, muscle, confidence walking into a gym, self respect and a new love for clothes shopping!I highly recommend Cause and Effects Fitness if you want to make a long term change in your health and fitness. I’ve been with Cause and Effect Fitness for almost 5 months now, and couldn’t be happier. I
didn’t think I would ever see a change in myself, but Chad has both shown and proven to me that I have the power to make positive changes in my life. Chad is very encouraging and motivating and doesn’t allow me to give up on myself. Not only does he provide a fantastic workout, but he also takes the time to explain which muscle groups are benefitting from the exercise which also helps to understand the movements. With his encouragement, I am able to push myself to be a healthier me, because who doesn’t want to be healthy? Chad and Chelsea are an amazing team and make a great organization that create great results!

I was looking for someone who could help be become leaner, because I wasn't getting any better just working out myself. .. so I tried it lost weight and gained muscle each month, thanks to them!!

And they're so personable, great to work with, and flexible with my schedule :) I would definitely recommend them to anyone trying to lose weight or gain muscle at any age of life!

I have been going to Cause and Effect for several months and I highly recommend them for personal fitness training. The coaches, Chad, Chelsea, and James are all invested in your health and fitness and it makes a big difference. For fitness, I have been working with Coach James and he always provides a great workout within my half hour time slot. Every workout is different and challenging. He always encourages me to do more and pushes me safely beyond what I think I can do. I have more than doubled/tripled my strength and endurance since joining them only few months ago. Coach Chelsea has been helping me with my nutrition, which is by far the hardest bad habit for me to break. Slowly, but surely she has guided me to eating healthier and reducing my portions. I have been working with Cause & Effects Fitness for 10 months now, including their nutrition advice, counseling and active personal training and workouts. As of yesterday morning, I have lost a full one hundred fifty pounds, and what's more important is I have done it the right way with good nutrition and good physical fitness work.These folks are wonderful people, and they have become more than just my partners in great health, they've become my friends and mentors.I owe them a huge debt of gratitude and I cannot recommend them highly enough.The results don't lie. When I first met Chad & Chelsea, I was trying to lose weight and I was struggling. I weighed 334 pounds. Now with their advice and partnership, I weigh 201 pounds and they have helped me to build muscle tone, endurance, and feel great. The team at Cause and Effects Fitness is fantastic! I was nervous for my initial consultation back in late August, not sure what to expect, but now I know I definitely made the right choice. Coach Chelsea has turned into more than a nutrition coach to me; she's a great friend. She's been a huge help in assisting me to improve my nutrition habits and self esteem. Coach Chad molds my workouts to fit my needs AND my personality. He makes note of the exercises I like vs. dislike, and he even lets me play my music! I actually look forward to working out now, because it's more of a jam session where I get to blow off steam while improving my body, and I have two awesome people who hold me accountable for my decisions. I reached out to Chad a little while back to see if he could help me build my core strength for competitive kayak racing. I explained to him what muscles I am using when I kayak and what my goals are for racing . Chad used what I told him to develop a program that focused on my core and Chelsea put together a solid nutrition plan for me to follow. Chad has a different set of exercises for me at every session which is great because there are exercises that I have never attempted on my own. He also demonstrated exercises that I can do at my own convenience in my home using only a suspension trainer. I have been training with Cause and Effect for a little over a month now and I'm already noticing a huge difference in my performance on the water. I would like to take a moment and compliment the facility that Chad and Chelsea have built! It's well-kept, clean and inviting to the person who has never walked into a gym before. They take their time completing a survey in order to ensure that your needs are completely in line with the goals you want to set for yourself!
