CGI's full-service design follows the following 6-step process:
1. Discovery
Where we learn about your challenges, needs and desires. Includes complimentary Discovery Call.
2. Initial Planning and Contract Acceptance
Where we generate ideas and solutions. Present preliminary design, solicit feedback, and get your feedback.
3. Concept and Design
Where were we develop and finalize your design. Prepare renderings and moodboards. Finalize space plans, furniture, and finish selections. Prepare estimated budget and project timeline. Final presentation and approval.
4. Construction and Procurement
The next steps in bringing your design to life. Finalize contractors and trade team members. Finalize agreements. Prepare purchase orders and invoices. Track all vendor orders. Periodic visits to monitor progress and provide technical assistance. Maintain project records and provide construction observation.
5. Installation
Where were we ensure that things are placed according to specifications. White glove delivery and on- site supervision.
6. Project Closeout and Acceptance
Get ready for your project reveal and walk through. Create punch list of deficiencies and schedule corrections. Photo shoot and project follow-up.

What inspired you to start your own business?
We recognized a gap in the interior design industry. There was a need for spaces that not only looked aesthetically pleasing but also resonated with a sense of calmness and cultural richness. Drawing inspiration from our own backgrounds, we envisioned a design firm that would celebrate diversity and offer a grounded approach to interior aesthetics.
The journey began with my deep love for design and a commitment to creating environments that go beyond mere decor—spaces that truly nurture well-being. Armed with a background in interior design and a genuine understanding of the impact that surroundings have on individuals, I set out to establish Calming Ground Interiors.
