Spent an amazing weekend in the Castlerosse Hotel last weekend to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday. From start to finish we (9 adults 6 kids) were greeted by the extremely friendly staff on reception. They helped with organising all our needs for the weekend. We ate in the restaurant Friday and in the bar Saturday. Everyone was so helpful and the food was amazing. If you are looking for a base to explore Killarney with the family, or if you are part of a group of hikers like we were, we cannot recommend the Castlerosse Hotel and Holiday Homes enough. From the minute we checked in to having dinner last night and using the leisure club facilities, we were treated so well from beginning to end. We will definitely be back and would recommend this hotel to anyone. Castlerosse was a fantastic venue . The view from the bar is awesome and I got thrilled by the amazing bar and restaurant . The staff is very kind though. Stayed there 11 12 of June 2018 it's was a fables place our room was looking out at the lake food was fables Bufa staf were very friendly it is very bike friendly and the tock our bikes and locked them away we had the chicken red cury there we loved it so the even wen we checked out we went in to kilarny we went back for the cury again before we left kilarny the music in the bar was very good 1 man playing but he had a saxophone as well he had a grate vice can't say a bad word about this place even the circle path we tock for 4 Killomtors was only 2 100 yards from hotell I will certanly go back there again

Lovely place the hotel is overlooking a beautiful kept Golf course 18 hole and to sit out see the deer's and people playing and soak in the sun and the hotel is brilliant and the staff couldn't do enough for the duration of my stay meals presentation so top class and the leisure centre pool nice and warm and jacuzzi tub oh I didn't like to leave it loved it and the steam room clean and kept well. We are staying in one of the Golf Lodges. It’s like being in an apartment. We have a wonderful view of the lake. Had lunch in the Bar dining room and it was very nice. Good service.

Stayed here with my family for May bank holiday weekend and all of us aged 8 to 68 loved the hotel.From the minute we arrived we were looked after staff were always pleasant from bedroom staff to restaurant staff. We stayed as a party of 46 for a birthday celebration and I cannot praise the staff highly enough, they were absolutely fantastic and ensured our stay was one to remember. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and all public areas are spotless. We ate in the restaurant and the bar, all food was delicious and staff efficient and attentive. The grounds and views are spectacular and the location is well placed to be close to anything you wish to do. I would highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Killarney. Just back from a 3 day break with the girls for my birthday fabulous setting beautiful scenery and the cottages were lovely staff were lovely and helpful my only fault would be if staying here would recommend you pay good attention to the menu as we had one person in our group with a high allergy and something were not marked correctly

We recently spent 4 nights in one of the golf lodges with our 21 month old. This was our first stay there and we will be back. We would highly recommend the Castlerosse as a very family oriented venue. The view from the bar and restaurant is stunning. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Just spent the last week at the castlerosse hotel. They hosted myself, my new husband & 65 members of our friends and family for the entire weekend and not forgetting our wedding on Saturday. Not only does this hotel have the best view in town but full of homely vibes and caring members of staff. I can't thank Mark and his fantastic team enough for all their hard work and attention to detail to make all of our stays as enjoyable as possible. This is the perfect place to base yourself for a visit to beautiful Killarney, particularly if traveling with young children as we were. We stayed in one of the woodland cottages for a week and I definitely recommend paying a little extra for the lake- view...well worth it! I spent so much time looking out at that view! Watching the rabbits and deer was so special. The cottages are huge and have EVERYTHING you could need! The kitchen is equipped with so much stuff! Cottages are comfortable and homely and safe for the kids. We used the pool in the hotel several times which was great for rainy days! The hotel is within Killarney National Park so a perfect base. You can walk right into town from the front door. Can't recommend this place enough and killarney is so beautiful. We'll definitely be back! Thanks Castlerosse! More...
