This restaurant has a great staff who are always very friendly and efficient. We love the coconut shrimp and taco salad. They are both excellent. The owners can be seen frequently stopping at tables to gauge the service. They now serve breakfast and we can't wait to try the migas. I was a litle put off at the prices and when my taco salad came and was placed in front of me I wasn't very impressed. Must be the property taxes in Travis county that makes the price of things so unreasonaby high? They now have a brunch buffett for about $18 /person on Sundays. A good variety of foods and an omelet station.some items include: carnitas, pancakes, chicharron c chile verde, chicken tenders, seasoned diced potatoes, black beans, rajas, tortillas de harina, fruit( watermelon, honey dew, strawberries, etc. Variety of salsas, menudo, pozole, two different guisados, nad a few other things i cant remember of the top of my head. Its pretty big, clean, nice. Outside seating with parrot/ jungle sounds . People got close just to figure out what the noise was. ... me too. First of all, the drinks! The Pepino Rico was delish! I also had the Black and Blue Mojito. It was good but the think the intensity of the blueberry out powered the mojito flavor. I was also impressed that your table's salsa gets seasoned to the intensity of spice right in front of you. The chips could be better though. There were a lot of things I wanted to try and settled on the Enchiladas Poblanas. The sauce had great flavor. The zucchini inside was a little more crisp than I would've liked but still good. I had black beans on the side and they were seasoned just enough to give some flavor but not overpowering. I'll definitely come back to try more items on the menu. More...
