Absolutely beautiful!! The floors, windows & chiavari chairs really set this venue apart from the rest! Having climate control for each individual area is also a plus. Best venue in the Farmville area!! We used Salem Chapel for my granddaughter’s 1st birthday party. It was absolutely perfect! There was plenty of room for our 60+ guests. I loved that everyone could sit in the same room as we ate, opened presents and visited with one another. The kids had room to play and the “older crowd” enjoyed looking at the beautiful architecture and craftsmanship. We were able to get in early enough to set up and clean up was a breeze. I was so excited to visit Caryn’s Bridal to find my wedding dress! Olivia was my consultant and she did an amazing job! Super sweet and very helpful with trying to pick my perfect dress, if it wasn’t for her I probably wouldn’t have picked one! The entire experience was amazing! Seeing my name on the cute chalkboard upon arrival, then being greeted by friendly staff while I filled out the paperwork asking all of the important questions was a great start. Then, I met with Cindy and we discussed what I wanted and budget. She was so respectful of my wishes. The gowns were absolutely STUNNING. Beautiful inside and out. I had been to other places where the inside of the dress was itchy or didn't breathe. Every dress I put on in Caryn's felt smooth and perfect, even on the inside. There was nothing poking me or making me sweat! After trying on several, she learned what I really liked and asked me in private if I would be comfortable going over budget by a little. She said "I have another dress that I know you will love but it is $1385" ($385 greater than I told her my budget was). SO RESPECTFUL. I told her that I would like to try it on. I fell so in love. Then she added the vail. I felt like the most beautiful woman in the world! (And they gave me a discount for buying the vail the same day with the dress deposit). This is the best wedding dress shopping I have experienced! Olivia was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and actually cared about making sure I was happy. She didn’t try to force me into anything I didn’t like or couldn’t afford. And, after visiting 9 different dress shops Olivia is the ONLY person who even took the time to ask about my fiancé and how we met, and that meant a lot to me. I loved working with Caryn's throughout my wedding dress shopping and purchasing and tailoring experience! It was like a dream! ! The ladies I worked with were each so attentive, and after each visit I received follow ups in the mail too, as well as other discounts and promotions for purchasing my dress through them! I'm not entirely sure if it was intentional or not, but I worked with Olivia pretty much the entire time for scheduling appointments and such after my fitting, which was super cool to know that I got to continue building that relationship with her. Additionally, I loved that the cost of adjusting the dress was included in the purchasing of my dress. It made it stress free and easy, and with the years of experience Caryn has at fitting and with dresses everything went so smoothly! They do a fantastic job of making sure you feel special and taken care of on such an important day! Olivia helped me find my dress and she was absolutely amazing! I showed her some pictures of dresses I liked from the website and she immediately went and pulled them all for me and then showed me some others that were similar to the ones I had picked out which was really helpful. She was incredibly sweet and patient, and didn’t even bat an eye when I changed in and out of the same two dresses multiple times. Overall it was a wonderful experience! I had an amazing experience at Caryn’s. The atmosphere is so welcoming and I loved how private the experience was for me and my family. Olivia was the best consultant! She is so sweet, knowledgeable, and talented at her job. She picked a great selection of dresses within budget based on what I told her of my venue and wedding vision. ✨ She also allowed me to go with her to the dress room to pull dresses. I loved that. She made me feel beautiful every step of the way throughout the appointment and gave me the confidence to step out of my comfort zone. She also helped me find the perfect veil to match my gown! I am Rachel, the new manager of Awesome Party Supplies and also engaged myself so I went to complete a tour of the venue. It is very beautiful ! The space is wonderful. There are different locations for bridal parties to get ready. Their is a spacious ceremony and separate reception area. The layout/design makes it perfect for decorating anyway you would like. There is also a kitchen. Plenty of room for parking. I am very pleased with this location and would highly recommend it to anyone for any kind of event. More...

I visited Caryn's bridal shop a week ago with the intention of finding my wedding dress and I did!
Their wedding dress selection is amazing, many designers to pick from and styles. My consultant Kaitlin was patient and very friendly. I liked that she was not pushy or rushing me to make a decision. She gave me my space! Once I found the dress that I fell in love with, she picked a very delicate veil to pair up with my dress. I would totally recommend this store for any bride looking for a beautiful gown at an affordable price. They also do tuxedo rentals and mother of the bride/bridesmaids dresses. It was worth the long drive from Northern VA.

Caryn’s Bridal was my first (and only) stop on my search for the perfect dress! My group and I were welcomed at the door with smiles and warm hellos! My consultant, Olivia, was so patient and lovely to work with. I was nervous about so much and she made my visit 10x more comfortable! She did not stop pulling dresses and offering assistance wherever needed for myself and my group until we were all completely satisfied. First I would like to say Olivia was wonderful to work with. The store is beauitful and very welcoming, they have a variety of different dress and styles. This was my very first time looking for a bridal dresses she asked what my thoughts were then guided me to a few and allowed me to freely look with my mom in tow and having a great time she went up to look for a few dresses she believed I may like and I picked out a few with my mother and she kept checking in and taking my selections and off we went. I worked with Olivia from Caryn's Bridal to find my perfect dress and had the most wonderful experience with her and everyone that helped her and I find my dress. Caryn's was the 7th store I had been to and I was feeling discouraged but the second I stepped in to Caryn's I just knew that the atmosphere was different. The people were nice and the dresses were beautiful (and beautifully priced). Olivia worked extremely hard to pull dresses and asked me a bunch of questions to make sure she was pulling things that I would like. Very nice shop and employees. My daughter actually found her perfect wedding dress here. Prices are comparable to other bridal shops, and I especially like that they cap the cost of any alterations needed to a very reasonable price. The lighting could be improved upon, and I would have preferred the individual dressing area to be private. It was somewhat difficult and distracting to focus entirely on my daughter as there was another young woman trying on dresses who we could see directly behind us in our mirrored room. A privacy screen would be helpful, but all in all, we had a very nice experience and were elated that she found that special dress that she absolutely loves. More...

I had my son’s birthday party here. The venue is incredible. Everything is new, the bathrooms are new (very cleaned and well stocked), there’s plenty of parking, spacious enough to hold plenty of tables/seating, and the church provides a very cool historic element as well.
