Fantastic gift of the gab, very chatty and personable at first. After that though... always turned up late, careless work damaging products, agreed to come back to rectify the problems with his work but then didn't show and ducked all forms of contact from us. This was especially annoying as he came to see what we were unhappy with, made a list of things he could do to correct it, set a date, and then disappeared. Spent a lot of time telling us that the expectations were too high, although everyone who has seen his work since has been shocked at how poor the finish is. A scratched shower tray that now has grey patches on the white surface to try and repair it, a wall that's not straight, grouting missing all around, patchy paintwork, a toilet randomly 10mm from the wall, didn't have enough dust sheets so needed a professional clean afterwards, fittings set upside down on a towel rail... the list is long and I would love to attach pictures. We have given so many oppurtunities for him to sort the work that is subpar that we are now having to use the legal route to sort the problems which is stress nobody needs. A lot of pressure to pay at the end with a joke about knowing where our cars are, and actually asking for an advance during the job. Should have given away the lack of professionalism really but by then the job was underway. Yet our reward for this is being left unhappy and all contact ignored. Avoid at all costs More...
