Carrollton Chiropractic and Massage

I'm so used to large hospital organization models of customer service that coming here was an adjustment. No pun intended. I'll explain my experience from start to finish: The front desk girls aren't friendly and don't explain much. They're not rude, but they're definitely not friendly. Nobody explains the process of why people are going in and out of random rooms. Apparently one room is where you get popped, one room is where you can get a massage if you want, and one room is where you get "wires and rollers". This is an opportunity where the front desk could be trained to be friendlier and explain the process.On my first visit, Dr Mark explained alot about the chiropractic philosophy. He made a decently nice comparison of chiropractic care to preventive medicine and dentistry. He did an excellent job with the adjustments. My back pain was decreased and I felt much better range of motion. This is where the second opportunity of improvement comes into play. Dr Mark takes you from the chiropractic room and says now we're going to hook you up to wires and rollers. I'm like ok? No clue what that means. He tells you to lay face down and apparently he leaves lol one of the two girls at the front desk comes in without announcing herself or what she's going to do, flings open the curtain, pulls the back of my shirt up and starts applying patches... I'm thinking, what is going on, so I ask if she'll tell me what she's doing... she says something along the lines of, "this is a therapy. Let me know when you start to feel the tingling." I barely start to feel it and I say ok because I'm thinking if I don't tell her to stop in advance this is going to shock me, I then put it together that it's one of those electrical muscle stimulators and a heating pad on top. I guess that's what wires and rollers means... an electrical muscle stimulator known as a tens unit and a warming pad. Admittedly, I felt relaxed afterwards, but I would've really appreciated more explanation of what to expect. I've gone 5 more times and now I just roll with it but I wish the girls at the front desk were friendly, gave explanations, and told you the rationale for each step. Not a bad experience, nobody is rude persay, but nobody is friendly or welcoming in my experience. I'll keep going back to see Dr Mark but I don't go out of my way to say much to him or the girls at the front desk. Just hello, here's my payment, here's my blah blah, and that's it. Dr. Mark Abrinica is a humble, kind, skilled chiropractor. I really appreciate all he's done to relieve my low back pain. I love that I can text to schedule an appointment, often same day . I never feel any pressure to schedule extra appointments and I never feel rushed. He takes the time to provide the treatment that is needed that day and doesn't nickle and dime you for stuff. Only cons are the office is a little cramped, but it works just fine! And I wish he used Impulse IQ for treatments, as it's less jarring. The best chiropractic services I have experienced. Dr Abrinica cares about your health and is great at explaining your treatment plan and why its recommended. I pay per visit, I didn't feel like I was purchasing timeshare my first day. I'm sure the first consultation is case by case, but I was able to present my MRI and xray images the first visit, which he reviewed and developed a treatment plan immediately. More...

The office staff was very pleasant as well as the DC/massage therapist. I wasn't completely relaxed, the ticking of the clock was a bit distracting. I highly recommend Carrollton Chiropractic and Massage. My daughter got me a package and I bought my other daughter one for Christmas. I got the best 1 HR full body massage, complete adjustment and then 15 minutes on the spinal decompression table. The Dr Abrinica was professional, really informative and his procedures that he uses worked better for me than any chiropractor I had been too. Have been a client of DR. MARK since he took over for Tignor (RIP). He has saved my bacon more times than I can count. Today I met RYAN, his new masseur. WOW. She was awesome. Deep tissue massage on lower back and left hip. Hurt it three days ago running. Still sore, will be for a few more days. She has the touch. Deep elbows.She spent 1/2 hour getting into several areas. Absolutely fabulous experience and impeccable service standards!! My amazing journey started right when I made an initial inquiry call and ended with me walking out of the clinic after getting my services! ! I made the call and spoke with Dr. Mark directly. Explained my problem (muscle pull in middle trapezius muscle). He was very patient and understanding even on the call and explained that he can help me out. I went ahead and set up my appointment with them. My package included one hour of therapeutic massage, examination, chiropractic adjustment, and decompression. And I got every single bit of it to the last drop..!! I got late for a my appointment by about 10-15 minutes.. And first thing was massage. Even though I was late, I still got a full one hour massage.. John, my masseuse, was very professional and supremely good at giving massages. Thoroughly enjoyed it, it was very relaxing.. Post that I had the consultation with Dr. Mark. He is very knowledgeable. He gave me a pretty good primer about what chiropractic school of medicine is.. He was patient, listened carefully to my issue and gave me appropriate adjustment - which immediately alleviated me a great deal. Woke up with neck pain could not turn left. Called and got in within the hour. Dr mark got me a 30 min massage witch was wonderful. As well as seen me following he did some exams and listen to my chief complaint and gave me a much needed adjustment. He had some spray that works better than biofreze and or ice/hot. I've known Dr. Mark & his wife for years - I even attended their wedding. They are some of the kindest people I know and are not at all the type of people would steal anything. I read the 1 star review Carrollton Chiropractic received and was very shocked by the allegations. I have a really hard time believing that they copied the logo as one reviewer claimed. In fact, I asked him about her review. Among other things, he told me she wasn't even a patient!I took my son to him last year when he began complaining of back pain. D. Mark gave him a very thorough checkup & he sent us for x-rays. My son felt relief after only a few visits & adjustments. He's been away at college & hasn't been back in a year, but has been feeling great. Only recently he had some back pain, so we took advantage of his being home for summer to pop in for an adjustment & massage which was very helpful. Don't let the bad review deter you. I threw my back out on Sat before Christmas and made my first appointment on Thursday after Christmas for a massage and adjustment, the massage was amazing, he asked where my problem areas were and concentrated on loosening my back muscles for almost the entire hour. Dr. Mark then did my exam and adjustment sending me for xrays the next day. I have now had five visits and my back is getting better.
