Carreglwyd Estate

Beautiful estate on the edge of Holyhead. I was there for Gottwood Festival, a boutique festival with an air of exclusivity and lots of VIP zones. Festivals are becoming more and more like fashion statements, you have to Instagram from the hip places so your followers can see what a hedonistic lifestyle you lead, how many rugs your boutique yurt has and what the state of the VIP toilets is. All with a slight dusting of Columbian jungle juice and a pair of Hunters. Gottwood had a lot of that, and I feel like as it goes on, it will become more and more exclusive, until all the fun has been priced out of it. We shall see More...

Beautiful land. Beautiful space. Great for a quiet escape... Unless if course you head down when they hold the Gottwood Music Festival. You can hire a private cottage with all amenities and enjoy sheep roaming around and short walks to the ocean. Definitely worth a visit indeed. More...
