Chris’ photography skills absolutely speak for themselves, we knew from the get-go that he was going to be able to capture our wedding beautifully (and judging by our sneak peak photos he has absolutely cracked it! ) However, what we didn’t know was just how fantastic and lovely Chris was going to be on the day. Chris and Nina made everyone feel unbelievably relaxed and at ease. The lengths they go to and the commitments they make to capturing the perfect shot is awesome! With a husband ( ) who’s not a massive fan of having his picture taken, we actually ended up having fun with Chris and Nina. They are down-to-Earth, funny, kind and committed. When getting ready in a house full of girls, Chris fit right in!!! He is so discreet that it didn’t feel at all like he was intruding. He works tirelessly to capture all those special moments that are all a bit of a blur in the excitement of the day. Chris and Nina were a big part of our day and we are honoured that they shot our wedding. At such a busy time for a wedding photographer Chris still makes the time for you and makes you feel like the only bride and groom in the world - we were stunned to be sent a sneak peak of photos the very next day! We cannot wait to see the rest of our wedding photos. If you are wondering whether to book, Carpe Diem - they are a must! Wow where do I start, “nice” doesn’t even cut it! The best kind of “nice” there is!! Nice nice nice! (Only the wedding crew will get this ; ) ) What a day, Chris and Charlotte were not just photographers , the felt like friends! We had such a laugh the whole day, and they put us at ease so much. We’ve never laughed so much and that meant you caught some amazing photos! And even when I didn’t want to have my picture anymore as I just wanted to dance, you turned that into a GIF! A massive thank you and as for recommending - they are the best!! We had the best “wedding crew” and I think they had as much fun as our guests!! Its taken me nearly a year to write this review because the words I write can't describe how AMAZING /TALENTED Chris Wallace & Helen where for us when we got married at Rowton Castle on 23rd July 2018. They where there whole day from start to finish they remained professional but made everyone so relax & we had lots of fun along the way . They went above & beyond & are truly fantastic. The work they put in to our day was delivered in the beautiful photos that we have to look back on , they truly captured our day with every little thing captured. We are about to jet off to celebrate our 1st anniversary as we look back on our wedding photos which are in every room of our home , we can not thank you both enough for what precious memories you have given us & capturing the full emotion / atmosphere of our wedding day. If your unsure on who to book for your wedding I wouldn't think twice in rebooking this pair because they are truly AMAZING. What can I say other than Chris and Nina are both simply amazing!! I mean how many photographers would help to undress and redress the room for the evening reception to help to keep the wedding going to plan! ! We literally couldn’t fault them from start to finish!! I knew I wanted them to photograph our special day after my best friend had them to photograph her wedding at which I was a bridesmaid (We chose our wedding date based on when they were available) They both make you feel so comfortable when having your photos taken and you spend most of the time laughing making the photographs look so natural!!

The only issue we did face is that we loved every single photo, so choosing 55 for our album was the hardest decision of our lives but we have just received our album and it honestly couldn’t be any more perfect, it brought tears to my eyes!! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to everyone!! Choosing Carpe Diem Photography will be one of the best decisions you make if you want to relive your memories over and over!! They definitely deserve more than just 5 stars!! More...

I don’t even need to see our photos to write this review (although I might just come back and do another one when I do) there was no hesitation when we made our booking as we knew only the very best would do. We set our standards VERY high and Chris and Nina blew our standards out of the water and left them for dust!! I honestly don't know where to start! Chris and Nina were both amazing yesterday when they photographed our wedding and nothing was too much trouble for them. From the first meeting with Chris nearly two years ago the service we have received has been out of this world. I'm not really sure where to start as there are so many AMAZING things to say about Chris and Charlotte! We were so impressed with absolutely everything they did - wonderfully organising us and our guests when it was needed, keeping us calm and obviously taking fantastic photos. We have had so many comments from our guests about how wonderful Chris and Charlotte were and we truly felt it was like having two more friends join us on our special day. Joe genuinely wants to keep in touch with Chris so they can both go flying their drones together!!! We cannot recommend Carpe Diem highly enough, nor can we thank them enough for how special they made our wedding day. We are so excited to see our photos when they are ready!

Well where to begin.... I chose Carpe Diem because I already knew how amazing they were from my Brothers wedding and also a few of my friends. After sorting a date Carpe Diem was the first thing we booked. From the start Chris was amazing i had some ideas of my own which I wanted to use into our photos on the day, which we did. Chris and Nina are so lovely, every bride feels special on their big day but Nina and Chris make you feel so much more than just special, every aspect of the day was so amazing, and it showed in our photos. I would give these guys a million stars if I could. They are the best you can get! We searched for a good few months without success before coming across Chris at Carpe Diem Photography. After a meeting at his home studio we knew this was the company for us! It was really important for us not just to have amazing photographs but to feel at ease with the person taking them and Chris ticked all the boxes. Leading up to the wedding he was so helpful in getting back to us with our (my) many many questions and even did a pre shoot with us to help us feel at ease in front of the camera. On the day it was a joy having both Chris and Nina around. Chris and our videographer Mike were like a comedy duo and kept me laughing all morning. He made sure to take the time to get those all important detailed shots while me and the bridesmaids got ready. Throughout the day Chris and Nina worked so well together. Nina made sure my dress looked perfect in every photo and for that I cannot thank you enough! It really did make a difference to the photos. She had the patience of a saint considering I chose a dress with the most difficult train in the world. We've just had our photo's back and we were blown away. So much emotion and love captured and I would urge anyone to not even hesitate to hire these guys. They will go above and beyond what is required of them and even after our wedding Chris was still on hand to answer any questions we had. Thank you both so so much. From the very first meeting with Chris we instantly knew that he would be our photographer! Chris was very professional from the first meeting, right up to picking up our wedding album. I knew that everything would run smoothly on the day, as we had discussed in detail in many meetings and emails who we wanted pictures of when we wanted to do them and Chris made it all work. I’d like to thank Chris and Nina for helping us on our big day, you guys were with us from first thing in the morning right up to our first dance and you were both incredible on such a cold day and night!
I would recommend Carpe Diem to anyone looking for a photographer, our pictures are beautiful and we will cherish them forever.

We booked carpe diem for our wedding as soon as we got engaged after we seen the amazing pictures he had done for my sisters wedding a few years back.
What can I say?!..
Chris and Louise were truly amazing!!!, the effort they both put in was breathtaking and so overwhelming to see!.
They made us laugh, smile and feel relaxed the whole day!, and nothing was too much too ask.
They stayed the whole day and even captured our cake cut and 1st dance in the evening, the photography skills and ideas that chris has is 1st class and I can’t recommend him enough!!.
We’ve recently received our photos and they are more perfect than we could of ever imagined!.
There’s so many and they have captured all the special moments throughout the day!.

Chris is 1 of the nicest guys I’ve ever met and I would 100% recommend carpe diem.

I would just like to again Thank you both Chris and Louise for everything!, you both helped make our day magical!.

Can't recommend them enough, if you want amazing photo’s and people that will make you comfortable about a very stressful day then you need Chris and Nina. From the first time we met Chris we knew Carpe Diem were the photographers we wanted to capture our day and it was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. We got married on the 5th August and Chris and Nina were our photographers- they were absolutely amazing!!! We had spoken to other photographers at wedding fairs but none of them made us feel as comfortable as Chris and Nina did. On the wedding day Chris came to where the bridal party and I were getting ready, he took the prep photos and photos of my dress accessories etc, we were all so relaxed we forgot we were having photos taken. My Mother-in-law normally doesnt like having her photo taken but even she felt relaxed and comfortable. Not only were they there to take photos but to help with other things too, Chris helped to put my veil in and Nina would fix my hair whenever the wind blew it or whenever I was trying to fix it myself and couldn't quite reach-Multi talented! � Throughout the whole day we just laughed! We enjoyed having our pictures taken and it didn't feel awquard at all! We loved having Chris and Nina at our wedding, everyone commented on how lovely they were. They truly are lovely people who love what they do! We can't thank them enough for capturing our special day- even the parts that weren't on my list Haha!! I would highly recommend them to anyone, they will capture some beautiful images!! thankyou so so much! Can't wait to see the photos.

Chris and Nina were fantastic on Saturday 11 Nov at my daughters wedding. Nothing was too much trouble for them, we had arranged a surprise for the wedding, Chris and Nina without hesitation agreed to an extra photoshoot and helped with the surprise. Chris and Nina have worked at weddings we have been to and last weekend, shot our wedding. I’m writing this review without seeing the photos. I’m writing the review as someone who hates having there photos taken, whose family doesn’t like having there photo taken but obviously we wanted to remember our special day. Chris and Nina are professional, kind, fun, they make all your concerns disappear cope with rounding your family/ sore feet/ stray golfers and anything else you throw at them.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!!

We knew Chris was the right choice from the second we saw his photos and after meeting him it confirmed this. We had such fun at our pre engagement shoot with our dog and car and this put us ( well me as the husband is permanently smiley and chilled! ) totally at ease. Chris and Nina were beyond fantastic on the day, Chris was the one who actually managed to fasten my wedding dress as none of my bridesmaids could figure it out!!! This definitely goes beyond the call of duty!! They endured every season of weather from bright sunshine to heavy snow to ensure we got some fantastic pictures. I feel so uncomfortable in front of the camera but I’ve ended up with photos that look straight from a Disney film and I’m beyond happy.
