Been here for lunch many times and at every visit Carousel’s in-house chefs have triumphed. They offer a really great selection of innovative and seasonal yet hearty dishes on their menu. Oh and their in-house sourdough is the best bread I’ve ever tasted!My favourite thing about this place is that they offer a chef’s menu called ‘let us choose’ where the perfect balance and number of dishes come from the kitchen. The front of house team are friendly, approachable and really know their stuff about food & wine. Gorgeous Venue! Very industrial and quirky. As musician playing here though the room is very very echoey and so it makes the sound very muddy. But lovely staff and great vibe!

What I loved about this eclectic restaurant was that it gives you a completely different food experience. My dinner was French with a Vietnamese twist. Not that's not something you try everyday. The food was lift and tasty. I don't eat much but didn't feel heavy or bloated and even after several courses had space for more. They have visiting chefs every 2 weeks and it's something that's part of the London dining scene these days. So it's a definite for the London experience list. I visited Carousel on Saturday 31st March and had a fantastic experience. The service was wonderful and the food by Esra Muslu was outstanding (and came in abundance- we did not leave hungry).
I am a vegetarian and mentioned this at the time of booking. I was well catered for, and each alternative dish was clearly explained as it was served to me.
We also each had a cocktail- these were all delicious- as well as two lovely bottles of red.
All in all, it was a fantastic night and we all throughly enjoyed the food, service and atmosphere. We will be returning.

Probably my expectation was too high, but the dish tastes pretty similar in the way they treat similar materials. Also idk if it’s always like this but during lunch time the staff seems to be very busy even without many customers, making the serving really, I mean really, slow. I’d rather they serve each dish individually rather than bringing them altogether at once and taking forever to make. Good quality food indeed tho. More...

Had the good fortune to sample Autumn by Carousel. This comprised a six course feast accompanied by delicious wines. The food was superb- my favourite being the Roasted Isle of Mull Scallop, Almond and Garlic purée, Parsley and Bread crumbs. I honestly thought I had never tasted anything so delicious. Perfect wines were offered to accompany each course and wow do they know what they are talking about.
The waiting staff were so knowledgeable.
We ended our meal with a Pear Raw Milk Ice Cream, Whey Caramel and lemon Verbena accompanied by a glass of BlackdownVermouth. All I can say is the whole experience was out of this world. A great space hosting local and international top quality chef residencies and other interesting sensory experiences like wine tasting, yoga club with lunch, candle making and more besides.
For the dinners, guests are all seated and served at once. Everything is extremely well organised and coordinated. Drinks on offer are all carefully curated and well made to order as extra.
