Caroline oversaw my wedding this past Saturday in London and I genuinely couldn't recommend her more highly! Honestly, having Caroline as our on-the-day coordinator was the best decision I made for my wedding, second only to my choice of husband! Caroline was an absolute star at the wedding I performed at last Saturday with my band The Supers. Everything ran smoothly and she looked after us all and made sure everyone was happy all night. Caroline was able to make sure the clients had everything they needed and were happy with the arrangements even though the speeches ran over. This meant we, (the band) could set up and sound check quickly, and without hassle to make sure we could stick to the evening schedule. We had our dream wedding this June and so much of that was down to Caroline. Living an hour away from our venue (which doesn't do many weddings) and having extremely busy schedules was starting to make planning a stress, but from the moment Caroline stepped in, she made it fun again. Not only does she have all the skills you'd expect and then some (organised, calm and able to rustle up awesome suppliers when you need them), she's also warm and friendly and really listens to what you want for your day. She instinctively got what we had envisioned and helped made it a reality - oh, as well as suggesting lots of clever little touches we never would have thought of ourselves. What do you love most about your job?
I just love helping people! Brides, grooms, their families, I love being able to enter their worlds and make a real difference. The worst part of wedding planning is saying goodbye after the wedding but luckily most my couples stay in touch.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I spent 16 years creating corporate events all over the UK and internationally. These ranged from small, intimate dinners, conferences and informal parties to formal dinners for thousands of guests, many held at some of the world’s most prestigious and unique venues. However, my dream was always to create more meaningful events. Events which leave permanent and fond memories in the hearts and minds of those who experience them. This dream was at the centre of creating Caroline Siân Weddings & Events and now I'm totally in love with helping my clients with their celebrations.
Why should our clients choose you?
The single most important consideration when choosing your wedding planner should be whether you're right for each other. And when I say “right” I don’t mean the basic tick list of availability, price etc, I mean do you actually like each other? You could be working together for a long time, plus they’ll be with you on one of the most important days of your life. It’s really important that you like them, trust them and feel a certain level of connection or understanding between you. I'm collaborative, meticulous, ambitious, realistic and creative.
