Caroline Jenkins Photography specialises in taking beautiful and natural photos in an outdoor environment. All shoots are tailored specifically to the families so everybody feels comfortable and relaxed. I try to introduce a range of posed and candid photography, making sure I capture the beautiful and natural moments between families.

What a super photographer. She came to photograph our 5 week old and he wasn’t the easiest model! If he wasn’t asleep he was a little bit fractious and had to be jiggled back to being photographed again. But we were never made to feel rushed or awkward - just completely comfortable. Caroline takes a genuine interest in the people she photographs which is probably why she can really capture the essence of them. We have some truly special photos to treasure which capture our new experiences with our tiny bundle and his funny little facial expressions as well as lying peacefully asleep. It's hard to put into words how amazing our photoshoot experience was with Caroline. We received our photographs yesterday and the whole family can't stop talking about them - we are all in love with them!
Caroline was wonderful with the adults and children alike - being able to give advice and ideas on what would provide the best photographs whilst still being keen on hearing any ideas myself and family had about the shoot and how best to accommodate those. She even took it in her stride when two family members decided they wanted to be models and demanded picture after picture as they 'posed'!! I literally can't praise her enough! A wonderful day, wonderful photos and I will definitely be booking Caroline again in the future. My mother described the whole afternoon as 'inspired' and I couldn't agree more xx

I was lucky enough to win a photo shoot competition on Caroline’s Facebook page earlier in the year. We had never had any family photos done professionally before. I needed purple and green pictures to fit in with the colour theme in our lounge, hence waiting for the lavender photo shoot season. Caroline made us feel at ease and made the shoot fun for our daughter. The photos were edited and emailed to us very quickly and they look fantastic. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Happy clients. If the children are happy then so are the parents and everybody is more relaxed. After that - light, location and an eye to detail.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What age are your children? What are their interests and personalities like? What do you want from your photography shoot?
What do you love most about your job?
Capturing beautiful and natural moments between family members.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Making people happy and giving them the opportunity to freeze a moment in time. Giving people pictures that would warm their hearts and make them smile every time they looked at them.
Why should our clients choose you?
I used to be a teacher and am a mum to two small children so I understand and know how to get the best from children. I run a very relaxed shoot and will do everything I can get to get the best out of everybody present. I bring a range of props along to the longer shoots so that the children have fun things to enjoy, play with and get distracted by. If they are playing with balloons and bubbles, they don't tend to be so camera-shy and self-conscious.
