I had a wonderful visit today at Carolina Hearing. Dr. Connell helped me understand what my hearing level was currently and how it could be improved. She used her vast knowledge of audiology, experience fitting hearing devices, and skills to help me understand how I'd adapt to my first hearing aids. It was all done in the same day. Dr. Abby Connell is an expert in audiology. She has superior knowledge which she uses to adapt the hearing aids to my specific needs. She listens carefully and then comes up with helpful solutions. I am hearing more because of her adjustments and expertise. Also, Dr. Abby is a delightful person and I enjoy our chats as she evaluates my ability to hear her well. OMG!!!!! Dr Abby & Latona are fantastic!! Dr Abby knows her stuff!! She is down to earth & is so easy to talk to! I always have to crack a joke here & there! ! I have never felt so good about any of my doctor appointments. I always believe the relationship between doctor & patient needs to be honest and true! That is what you get with Dr Abby!! She also allows me to be myself which is Boston loud!! �! I actually look forward to seeing her so I can teach her a new dance & song I downloaded!!! Latonia!! Well what can I say about her!! She is the bomb!!! Very professional but also really easy to talk to!! Her singing skills need to be worked on but she can chair dance! I know I’m being crazy writing this type of review for them! My point is, if you want a relaxed, caring & easy environment to get the help you need, Go to see them!! Top rated in what they do and take care of you!!! I’m joking around but I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I’ve tried a few doctors in the past but was not happy & felt all they wanted to do was take your money and run! I am so pleased to be able to thank Dr. Connell for changing my daily life! After working with another local audiologist without satisfactory results to manage my tinnitus, I was referred to Dr. Connell. At my first consultation she performed a hearing test and was able to immediately recommend a solution for me. She recommended a hearing aid that provides background noise to help manage my tinnitus. For the first time in years I have been able to go through my day without the nagging sound of tinnitus in my ear and head. Dr. Connell listened to me, carefully explained the appliance and the treatment, was patient, and completely professional and kind. I can't say enough about this practice.
