What do you love most about your job?
- Baking smells amazing... is there anything better than having a house that smells like chocolate cake?
- Knowing that what your cake will make other people happy in their special day (birthday, wedding, engagement, etc) is one of the warmest, fuzziest feelings there is.
- Baking can feel a bit like putting together a magic potion. You combine a bunch of ingredients into a wet, sloppy mixture, put it in the oven, and—SHAZAM!—it’s a cake! How cool is that? Very freaking cool.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I love to bake. I make delicious and gorgeous cakes. Friends and family told me, "OMG! You should start a cake business from home!"
