What’s your interior design process?
If a complete design is what you need we will take the time to talk to you and really understand your style and needs. We will undertake a full measure and produce design boards with fabrics, paint colours and product specific images of furniture and accessories tailored to your room or home. We will also provide you with thorough costing of how much your project will cost based on your tailored designs.
Which interior design styles can you cater for?
Being an Interior Designer requires the ability to design for a client, not for myself. Design, particularly in a home says a lot about who you are and should reflect you as a person or family. I think it became clear what I wanted to do for a career when I realised I loved so many different styles, colours and looks which makes it even harder when it comes to decorating my own home. (who can blame me when I spend every day seeing beautiful interiors!)
When I meet a client I can gauge very quickly what their style is and the next task is to make that work for their home.
What do you love most about your job?
The transformation of a space and the reaction from the client when they see the finished results.
What inspired you to start your own business?
15 years ago a passion for interior design was found through the love of Art and Design. What began with an obsession for dolls houses has flourished into an Interior Design degree and over 3 years of working in both the commercial and residential interior design industry.
This experience working on large scale projects has formed the foundations for Carliér Interiors who specialise in design through to completion - managing trades and minimising hassle for home interiors.
