I met Randi in my late 20s. I suppose you could have called it my quarter life crisis: I had a job in media that lacked the creativity and sense of social purpose that had gotten me interested in journalism in the first place.
But strangely, I didn't know how I'd ended up there, why I felt unhappy in my work, or what I could do about it.
I'd never been to career counseling or life coaching before – if I'm honest, I was a little bit shy and skeptical. Weren't my problems terribly trivial, and couldn't I just sort them out alone? But after my first session with Randi I knew this was one of the best investments I could make in my career and in myself, and I'm so glad I did. She was free of judgment and made me feel full of hope. She helped me clarify my career goals and ultimately find a job that I loved. She also helped me develop a vision for and launch a creative project I had long wanted to do - not only working with me to get it off the ground but continuously encouraging me to say focused on following through.
Nearly four years later, I'm still working with Randi regularly. She has coached me through some extraordinary changes – a new job, moving to a new country, getting married. I can honestly say that I have never been happier and more satisfied with my life and my work. What I love most about Randi is that, like a true guide, she helps me find the answers to complex problems within myself, rather than simply telling me what to do. Her insight, empathy and razor sharp instincts have always pointed me in the right direction. I leave our sessions feeling empowered and confident in my own capacity for decision making and action. She has brought focus to my often scattered sensibilities, and brought realism and reassurance in difficult times.
It’s hard to imagine my life now without Randi. These days I think of her as a life collaborator as well as a life coach – I wouldn’t make any big decision without getting her wise and insightful perspective first.

What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people gain clarity about career and/or life direction as well as helping people discover their goals/vision and working collaboratively to get there. I have been doing this work (both individually in person and by phone, as well as teaching workshops and classes) for about 20 years and still love it and find it endlessly rewarding. Whenever I speak or teach to groups, I consistently hear that I seem to have a true passion for my work.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had worked at jobs, but knew something was missing. I wasn't using all of skills, talents and interests. Now I am and like to help clients and students do the same, discover and create meaningful work and lives in various ways. The work is different with every client, depending on their goals, what they are needing and who they are.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I love what I do and the work will benefit you! I am very experienced, been doing this work for about 20 years and am still very enthusiastic about it. I have career coaching, life coaching and counseling training, degrees and certificates and a wealth of experience. My work has helped many students and clients over the years.
