08 zafira 1.9 cdti... was having problems with lack of power in the low revs, engine management light was on giving me a fault codes indicating an egr error. . garage checked egr and said it looked like it was recently replaced and recommended a carbon clean

Called out Carbon Clean Cardiff and they came out the same day..very friendly service, came to my home and excellent price...
Engine was noticeably more responsive, power returned to low revs and engine sounded a lot quieter..
After two good motorway runs the engine management light had gone off and it feels like a new car

I have a 60 plate 1.7 diesel Astra. The idoling was pulsing from 800 rpm down to 750ish rpm and back up to 800 . I had flat spots of power. The car was surging due to the flat spots.
Got the guys in today he did the treatment I can't believe the difference it's driving better than it did the day I bought it. Idling is normal and power is instant money well spent . Thanks for boost ( literally)

Had an EGR valve replacement costed at £270 for a Vauxhall Astra. Called Carbon cleaning and was given an appointment the same day. Saved me a load of money and fixed the problem perfectly. Had my Rover 820 done yesterday. The difference is massive. The first few minutes from starting the engine is normally a bit rough with the engine struggling with any pressure applied to the throttle, but now the pick up from the engine is incredible! 85k on the clock. Was a bit laggy felt like the power had dipped and felt like she wasn’t running to her full potential!

I had a carbon clean yesterday. Alan was very friendly, lovely, professional and knowledgeable. Took him my bmw 435i for a 40 minute clean.

Results were great! Power delivery a lot more even, especially in the low rev range. Engine is a lot smoother at idle and all round!

My mpg had drop from the time i brought my car. I had lag in the engine and when at a stand still the was a slight noise of juttering. Came straight to door was completed within the time i was told and also explained how it works which i was impressed. But was kore inpressed how my car is now running. Like a brand new engine. My MPG has increased by 8 Mpg around town and also have my power back in the car where it should be and also the jutting at a stand still has now gone.Shall be using again for my other car and recommending friends and family of the services.Thankyou More...

Wish I never got a car with a DPF filter, as I only do short journeys.....anyway Carbon Clean come and flush it out every 6 months for me, it only takes about half hour, it's done on my driveway and only costs £60, very pleased.

Took my Rover 820 to be carbon cleaned last week. I've driven my car for 58,000 over the last 4 years so knew all the flat spots in the engine and where it normally struggles on certain roads I drive on. After the clean, I was genuinely amazed at the difference to the engine. It was the best it has ever felt. The usual flat spots were gone. The pick up in 2nd & 3rd gear at 1500rpm was finally smooth and not jerky as before. Performance felt a bit quicker too, so clearly all the dirt was holding back some of the horsepower.
