Cara entertained parents and kids at our P7 leavers' party last week. She wowed us all with her card and rope tricks. She was constantly surrounded by clamouring kids desperate to try to work out how she could be doing the magic - we got some great photos of their stunned faces! How long have you been interested in magic?
Most of my life, my interest started at a young age, when I was just 8 or 9 years old. That makes 25+ years now.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
Strolling or table close-up magic using cards, coins and everyday objects (even smartphones). I also perform some mentalism. My main goal when performing is to make sure everybody has a really good time; it is all about the audience's enjoyment.
What do you love most about your job?
Being able to spread the joy and wonder of magic. I often say we are all equals in the face of magic.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Very simply, because I love to perform and this is the best way to do it.
