Miguel is a top notch photographer.
We hired him to take family photos at a beautiful lakeside setting. When we all got there he was ready to go.
He took a lot of photos, which he then took back to his office for processing, which was done prety quickly!
By the end, we’d paid a great price and got stunning photos, with service above and beyond our expectations!

I purchases several photographic prints from Captured Wilderness. I had them framed and they are hung along the staircase in my home. These are wonderful photos of wild birds. The birds are captured in flight, and the colors are vibrant. I cannot recommend this photographer more. You will enjoy his work for years to come.

Mr. Denyer took newborn picture of my daughter. I wanted the best to take photos, she was born with a few medical problem, one being severe hydrocephalus and just had brain surgery. So she had a shaved patch of hair and had a sensitivity of bright lights. so he couldn't use flash. AND THE PICTURES CAME OUT WONDERFUL. He has a magical touch. He was very kind, very understanding, and held her with even more extra care.

Captured Wilderness Q&A

Captured Wilderness Q&A

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?

...of people? Making sure that the person being photographed is comfortable - most people feel anxious while standing (or sitting) in front of a camera, even when they are doing so by their own request. Being personable as the photographer will help make the client feel at ease.
...of products? Making sure that, as the photographer, one understands completely, what the client is looking for and being able to ensure that any limitations are properly explained to the client - what the client wants, and what is physically possible, are not always the same thing.
...of pets? Being able to catch capture the true character of that pet, and to treat the animal with respect while photographing it - just because the client wants a photo of the pet, it doesn't mean the pet wants to be in front of the camera. As with people, animals also get anxious and so every action should be taken to ensure the animal's comfort during the session.

What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?

What exactly is the client looking for? What format are they wanting their images in - electronic files, prints, CD/DVDs, USB drives?

What do you love most about your job?

I love being able to do the thing I like doing best - taking photographs, and then producing images that will make my clients happy.

What inspired you to start your own business?

I started doing photography as part of my recovery after suffering two strokes about 6 years ago. It didn't take long to realize that I have a real talent for photography, especially when it comes to nature and wildlife photography, and so, since I was now disabled and unable to work anymore in my previous profession, I decided to turn my new hobby into a business. It hasn't been easy but it is starting to pay off.

Why should our clients choose you?

I'm fair, honest, professional, and without sounding too big headed, I am really good at what I do... but don't take my word for it - hire me on your next photography project and see for yourselves.
