Meeting Charlotte at the Keele Hall Wedding Fair was just by chance and I am so glad we met! She was very excited to take on a new challenge to photograph not only the wedding but the pre-wedding ceremonies of our Indian wedding. She got stuck in and immersed herself into our culture for the weekend. Charlotte was lovely to work with and very professional and patient, especially when there was multiple things going on. The quality of the photographs were vibrant and full of life, helping us to re-live our special day. Our photographs came to us in a lovely gift box with the USB stick, CD and goodies, which were a lovely surprise. Well.. a bit like everyone who leaves a review on Captured Life Photography, where to start? Charlotte is probably one of the nicest, easy going and professional people you could ever meet. We got married in June (sorry this is so late!) and met Charlotte around september and I can honestly say from day one she has been my rock. She had suggestions when I needed them, an ear to listen to me moan (god forbid on the actual day with my overwhelming melt downs!). We got a lot more than we bargained for with her package as we have gained a friend! On the day she made our friends and family feel so comfortable and they all loved her. As we had a harry potter themed wedding I was unsure of what our day would look like but oh my god was it amazing and Charlotte captured every little bit and the photos I am still looking through daily there are amazing, such wonderful work it really means a lot to us. Charlotte's photographs of our wedding are outstanding. We were recommended Charlotte and her style was just what we were after. Neither my husband or myself are very comfortable at having our picture taken, but we felt so relaxed that it felt very easy. The images we have seen are amazing! And I never thought such beautiful photos would be possible. They truly capture the spirit of the day. Every time I look over the pictures another one catches my eye that I'd not noticed. Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Charlotte for photographing our amazing wedding day in South Ayrshire, Scotland. Kev and I can't recommend Charlotte enough. She is extremely knowledgeable and attentive and really listened to what we wanted. We had our pre-wedding shoot at some of our favourite spots near Maidens the day before the wedding and the preview pics for those were up that evening! On the wedding day, I know Charlotte was everywhere, but in her stealth-like way we did not really notice her - the perfect photographer!! A particular highlight was being told to leave a castle we were having some pics taken in (oops!) - something we will never forget!! I can not thank Charlotte enough for the amazing photos from our wedding day, I can assure you if you book Captured Life for your wedding you will not be disappointed.
Even when an extra hair pin is needed or you have eyelash dramas Charlotte is on hand �!
The day as everyone says goes so fast, I was so happy to look through the photos and relive all the beautiful memories captured. I wanted a natural feel to the photos that didn't look staged and we didn't want to be away from our guests for hours at a time, this worked perfectly with Charlotte's style. Everyone else loves the photos too!!

From the first day we met Charlotte at our venue she made us feel very at ease. We had a coffee and an informal chat about what we wanted and she delivered exactly that. She obviously knows her stuff and genuinely wants to capture beautiful moments. She is very organised but adaptable and we loved that. We were so glad that we found Charlotte and were lucky she was available for the most important day of our lives as both our families travelled from abroad for this special occasion.

Charlotte has such an amazing talent for capturing ‘moments’ which is exactly what we wanted on our wedding day. You’ve truly captured the essence of our day providing us with so many wonderful images. Charlotte just blended in so well that all the family and guests never realised that they were being photographed. Both our families were impressed and loved Charlotte as she was calm and friendly. I fell in love with Charlotte's photos as soon as I saw them at a wedding fayre. They're so natural and light and not over edited, and since we've had our pictures back I can happily say that they are as amazing as I thought they would be.

On the day Charlotte even took the time and effort to find the perfect spot for our couple photos. Originally we were planning to travel off site but I'm beyond happy that she found somewhere close to the venue because it meant that we weren't leaving guests for a long period of time and having the photos in the same location as the wedding makes it more special.

Not just the photos and the location, but Charlotte is such an amazing, easy going person that she got along with our videographer like she had known him all her life. Having all three of them work so well together really put us at ease and probably helped me to not be so stiff :-) By this point my feet were killing and Charlotte even gave me her flat shoes whilst she wore her boots. I can't believe I was so un-organised but it really was a life saver so thank you so so much Charlotte!!

Charlotte is the wedding photographer you daydream about when planning your wedding. From first contact to delivery of our album, Charlotte has been prompt and personal in her communications, put a lot of effort and love in to the little details and is just generally a pretty excellent human being to be around.
She puts in the time to form authentic relationships with people and you can tell from her online and offline presence that she takes real pride in her work. I have no doubt she makes everyone's wedding feel individually special, not just through her photographs but through all her communications and planning with the couple too.

Our wedding day had a bit of questionable weather, some last minute changes in plans and a bride (me) who usually cringes at the idea of getting their photo taken and suffers from some skin issues. Charlotte delivered the wedding album of our dreams. Capturing so much joy, atmosphere and a very happy couple (pretty bride included).

Charlie is such a passionate and talented photographer who truly captured the life and soul of our wedding! Charlie's images caught my eye at a local wedding fair as they were so natural and beautifully framed - we didn't want the setup poses, rather a narrative story of the natural and honest moments throughout the day and Charlie did not disappoint! Our package included a pre-wedding photo shoot which put the camera-shy groom completely at ease, and a second photographer on the day to ensure coverage of both groom and bride prep which was so important to us. Ever the professional, Charlie edited our images with care, yet the turnaround was amazingly quick, and she sent us a beautifully decorated package containing little prints as well as the USB, disc and a bundle of personal touches - it was the most exciting and thoughtful post I have ever received! From the initial meetings, to endless emails (I always ask too many questions!) and one-to one moments on the day, Charlie's support was infallible and nothing was too much trouble for her. Charlie has such a natural flair and teamed with her unobtrusive style you can be sure to truly enjoy every moment of your day knowing that she is working her magic behind the lens. Charlotte was absolutely incredible! She perfectly captured our special day and we can't thank her enough. Charlotte made the most mundane backdrops in to wonderful photos which we will treasure. She gave us space when we needed it and co-ordinated the family photos perfectly. We had a pre-engagement shoot in pouring rain and she was calm, efficient and patient with us!

Charlotte made all guests feel at ease and emphasised real life snaps rather than staged photos which was absolutely perfect! When things were busy she whisked us away for photos including some sunset ones.

Where do I start?! My husband and I got married in August at The Ashes Venue in Leek. We were looking for a photographer who understood us, who we could have a laugh with and who would have fresh, modern ideas - Charlotte we are so happy we found you! We met for a drink with Charlotte to discuss our big day, she was so attentive, enthusiastic and friendly, we knew she would capture the day perfectly. Throughout the whole process, she was there with advice and support and she made the planning and organisation easy. We had a pre shoot as part of our package which was at our venue. Charlotte spent a lot of time getting to know us and working out what worked for us and what didn't. We felt so comfortable and relaxed and our pictures reflected this. When it came to our big day, Charlotte was amazing. She managed to organise our (noisy!) wedding party seamlessly and capture our day perfectly without being bossy or intrusive, she blended in as if she were a guest! She had lovely ideas and took us to parts of our venue that we wouldn't have thought of, which produced absolutely gorgeous photos. Charlotte stayed for the entire day, even throughout our crazy dancing at the end of the night! Our pictures are phenomenal, we couldn't be happier, and we would recommend Captured Life Photography with the highest regard.

Not enough words allowed to describe the utter awesomeness that is Charlotte. 100% customer focused nothing is to much to ask, had an issue with the DJ and Charlotte was straight on it to sort, professional, creates works of art I'm proud to be in, always contactable and not just for photo questions. We recently asked Charlotte to come and give my 9year old a photo shoot for her birthday party with 14 of her friends. In my daughters words " it was the best party ever, can we do it again next year! Charlotte took amazing photos of my wedding night reception !
