The service has been great, I called and spoke to a very decent guy and explained what I required and he arranged collection. The ironing was duly collected and the next day they returned my massive pile of ironing, all individually folded and on hangers in clear sleeves. The delivery and collection driver is a credit to the company and is friendly, on time and professional, I called today on the way home from work and the friendly guy (sorry I can’t recall your name) said they would rearrange the collections route to make sure I was home before they came to collect. I wasn’t sure about payment and they took my payment by card over the phone once they had weighed and counted my clothes. Had to leave a review for this company as on recommended from a customer of many years of this company, I called and must express my thanks via a review to those looking for a decent laundry service. They exceeded any service I've had in past and I explain why. On having a disaster of a leak at my home and over 10 full black sacks of wet/damp clothing/linen/towels etc I called And asked if they could launder and price. Not only did they offer to collect and return all of it (of which I was passing so dropped off). They did this all in a day for us as we had nothing bar the clothes on our back and borrowed. They charged me a very reasonable price for doing so. Staff were extremely compassionate of our situation; Extremely helpful through and through, all were friendly staff and unfaultable laundered belongings, beautifully pressed and bagged. We use Canvey Ironing all the time. Their drivers are always within the set time frame, polite and friendly, the ironing always comes back beautifully pressed and under protective cover, and they are always able to accommodate next day service even when you have a massive load of holiday washing to sort. Really impressive service. I have also used them a couple of times for dry cleaning, this is again, great standards and so handy to have them dropped back at your door. More...
