I am writing this is because of a  situation  when I knew I needed to call in the big guns! I had been  working with  a regular client  of mine who happens to be a 85 pound pitbull, named  "Smudge". I decided I needed  to put  him on a treadmill because he needed some energy depletion. I.e. The walks weren't cutting it. Now, I have done the treadmill thing with other dogs and other dogs like him before. But for some reason this time I couldn't do it.  So... I decided to call in the expert Suzanne aka Canine Path. Although  it was a team effort, if it hadn't been for Suzanne and her ideas of how to do it, it may have not gotten done!  She is   thorough, determined and has a heart of gold.  Smudge and I will be forever grateful for her knowledge and her enthusiastic know how! We are so fortunate to have Suzanne in our lives! She has been a lifesaver in helping us with our sweet, golden retriever rescue, Jake who came to us with boatloads of fear and anxiety. Suzanne is very patient and took the time to build trust with Jake before asking him to do anything. She is all about encouragement and positive reinforcement.Suzanne is also an amazing coach for owners! She gives clear instructions and explanations and models each step. When I first met her, I was struggling with trying to walk Jake. He was pulling on the leash and not following my lead. When he saw other dogs, he would growl, jump up, spin, and try to run away. Suzanne went to work immediately and turned Jake's walks into a safe, pleasant experience for both of us. Suzanne is very dedicated and gives 110% of herself. She does what it takes to help her clients. She even met Jake at our groomer and observed how he interacted with the other dogs in a pack-like environment. She worked with Jake and the other dogs and answered the groomer's questions about Jake's behavior and how to help him be  successful there. Working with Suzanne has been an absolute pleasure, and I highly recommend her as a trainer and coach. More...

I've owned a dog walking franchise in Los Angeles for 10 yrs., and also have pups of my own. I've referred many clients to Suzanne over the years, and she can handle them all. She's experienced with large and small breeds, puppies, and seniors. She's trained dogs out of bad habits like pulling on their leash during walks, lunging at passing cars, being possessive over toys and/or food, excessive barking, and destructive behavior associated with separation anxiety and so much more. She been working with dogs for so long it is truly second nature to her.
I will continue to refer client and friends to her as she does an excellent job and it's obvious she loves the doggies.

We love Suzanne and are so grateful for her support! We adopted a young, spirited male Newfoundland who came to us in need of training and loads of TLC. Truthfully, in spite of having lots of experience with dogs, we were a bit overwhelmed by his needs. On the recommendation of a friend, we contacted Suzanne who immediately helped us to understand and correct our dog's behavior. Suzanne was patient with all of us, extremely responsive and supportive providing crucial guidance as we adjusted to life with our new fuzzy love.Forever grateful! More...

Brian was instrumental in correcting behaviors my dog was exhibiting following a vicious attack she experienced as a puppy.

In March of this year I contacted Brian to inquire if he would please consider putting together a training presentation specifically for the Los Angeles Mayor's Crisis Response Team. I briefly explained about the work that we do with families post tramatic incident, (such as engaging with LAPD/LAFD/families at crime scenes, accidents and homes) throughout all of Los Angeles. Brian agreed to come and his presentation was absolutely fantastic, and without any reservation, that we would like to invite him once again for a larger audience and presentation. There was member participation and we learned some valuable information for when we go into homes where animals are preaent. Thank you Brian. We are so greatful to you for educating us. You are the best!
In appreciation, Linda Housden, Terri Sommerville, & Barbara McDermott- CRT Valley Bureau Leaders.

Brian Lee is the best dog trainer I have ever encountered in my 60+ year life. He is personable, energetic, and perceptive, and he also exudes well-founded confidence. His presence is unmatched when he is imparting his training to dogs and his advice and guidance to owners. I vainly considered myself to be adequate in terms of my own ability as a trainer and was skeptical about the conviction of my wife and daughter that we needed someone to help us. Our sessions with him quickly transformed my attitude and won over our dogs. Ultimately our whole family was working together on a higher and more harmonic level. For this reason, we went back to Brian when we obtained our new Golden Retriever puppy, Chaucer. Brian talked us through the process of bringing a puppy home, what to expect and how to make our puppy's life as happy as possible after being separated from his mother, a potentially traumatizing experience for any puppy. Learning about Chaucer's energy cycle and how to work with it rather than fight it has made what could have been a very frustrating and tiring process a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It is clear that in the years since we last saw Brian, he has honed his craft as a dog trainer even more. One of the irreplaceable highlights is the amazing training and interaction that results from his inimitable puppy parties held at his house. Sixteen years of working with Brian has made all of us better, and all of us are looking forward to many more years ahead with him as we acquire new generations of puppies. More...

Brian has trained three of our dogs. The first two were nearly killing each other and our vet recommended Brian. It was the best recommendation ever and literally saved our lives. Within hours, the aggression was under control. We followed Brian's advice and the fighting never reoccurred. We saw Brian on the day we brought our current dog home. His advice has been priceless. This dog is the sweetest and smartest dog we've ever had and I am certain we owe it to Brian's early instructions and assistance with socializing her. Brian is just the best. More...

Brian did a fantastic job with our Rat Terrier, who was just starting to get a little too full of himself. The weekly training sessions were very pleasant for us all and Scout is now a happy, well-mannered little dude.
Brian's approach addresses every issue with common sense and a deep understanding of "dog-kind" that can only come with experience.
His methods are in no way cruel or mean-spirited, we would never have stood for that.
The result is a 16 lb. dog who can play safely and vigorously with the largest, most intimidating dogs without any trepidation on our part or his... he is just so well adjusted now. I've had dogs my whole life, and Scout is by far the best mannered of them all, thanks to Brian Lee.
