Rachel is an amazing trainer who truly understands and loves dogs and how to use positive methods in order to help them develop. We have just completed the 6 week growl course and enjoyed every week, as it was taken at just the right pace for our reactive dog. It was wonderful seeing her respond and progress under Rachel’s guidance and has given us more confidence too. I started training my little doggie when he was 1. He had no training what’s so ever I tried but didn’t get very far until I met Rachel. . she is amazing! We have been bringing Charlie for 26 weeks today and what can I say he can; sit, stay, lay, jump through a hoop, roll over, jump, speck, walk backwards, beg, paw, take a hat off my head! If someone told me he would be able to do all that in just over 5 months I would have never believed them! During the Easter break I attended an 'Introduction to Clicker Training Basics' Workshop hosted by Rachel Beacroft... its was a real eye opener into how we need to train our pooches . .. We (humans) performed some fun simple activities to help demonstrate just how difficult it is to train our dogs to succeed and deliver what we ask of them!!!
The workshop really gave us an insight into our doggies world!!! Highly recommend this Work shop to anyone thinking of Clicker training their dog's!!!! More...

I can't recommend canine connection enough! When I decided to get my little ball of fluff when he was 10 weeks I can't lie I didn't have a clue what to do with him( literally not a clue) From the very beginning at puppy one to ones then to classes Rachel has taught me how to train Winston and at 8 months he has learnt so much that I would never have thought he would be able to do!

Also he goes for walks with Rachel a few days a week whilst I'm at work and being a Chihuahua the beginning wasn't the smoothest as he was rather timid ( put politely ) ! Rachel was so patient and now they really are best buds! When he hears her voice he gets so excited. He also loves going for walks with Debbie too! There are not many people I'd trust to take him out but I don't have any worry when he is with them, he has a great time and loves being able to play with other dogs.

Thanks Rachel for helping me with him and making him into a well behaved ( well most of the time ) and the fun loving dog he is! More...

Rachel has been a godsend for our Lucy. We have taken her through Agility and Growler classes and it has helped so much. Rachel is so knowledgeable and passionate about dogs, her classes are relaxed and fun and I always feel comfortable asking questions. We first came across Rachel when we looking for a secure field to hire for our three dogs who were becoming increasingly hard to walk together. It was lovely to be able to relax, breathe and actually enjoy being out with them. We then started Rachel's classes with one of them and only wish we found her when they were younger. Her patience and positivity have changed the way I feel about George and has given me the confidence to feel I can help him to make the right choices. He loves her to bits and although he's got a long way to go she is able to show us glimmers of how he can be every week and always notices the improvements he has made and gives the encouragement to keep going. Rachel always has time to talk about any problems going on and listens patiently whilst being jumped at! She is full of great ideas and experience and I'm not sure where we'd be if we hadn't found her. I love that the classes are in a natural, real dog walking environment rather than a hall so it allows space and freedom when you need it and the opportunity to mix with the other dogs in a controlled way. I'm amazed at Rachel's manner with the dogs and how she sees the positives in them all and knows just how much to stretch them so that they have fun whilst learning how to cope with the expectations we put on them. Canine Connection has two wonderful secure fields in which dogs can run freely and safely and this is how we met Rachel. We have two dogs, one suffers from anxiety we think through being attacked a number of times and so finding the field was amazing. Rachel and her colleague Debbie now walk our two dogs on a daily basis during the working week. Both of them adore Rachel and Debbie and are much more settled . We also attend training with our eldest (the anxious one) and his development has been amazing. Previously he was hyper focused constantly watching his surroundings and ready for action. Now he is much more foccused on us and less so on his surroundings. He is more relaxed and his anxiety is definitely less than before. I never thought we would be able to bring down the way he focuses on his surroundings but Rachel’s training classes really work and it’s wonderful to see our baby happier and more settled than he has been for quite some time. I attend Canine Connection training classes weekly. I have a Poodle and a Greyhound. Rachel is an incredible teacher/trainer, a joy to find! The classes are well organised, fun, enlightening and extremely positive. Rachel's ethos is one of patience, understanding and kindness which in my opinion is priceless. I couldn't have found a better dog trainer for my small chihuahua with a very big character! I had no idea what I was doing with a puppy so we had puppy one to ones from 10 weeks where i learnt the basics about positive reinforcements including toilet training etc, Rachel is always happy to give advice when needed. We have been at classes since he was 18 weeks old.
Winston has learnt so much and keeps up with the big dogs In the classes , every time we get a new project I think he'll struggle but he thrives from learning new things.
Winston also goes for walks whilst I am at work and when he hears Rachel's voice at the door he just gets so excited and can't wait to go and see her and loves playing with other dogs on her secured field.
Winston found it hard at first going out without me but Rachel was so patient and kind with him and took time to build his trust and now she is his favourite person outside of the family!
