I love feeling as though I'm helping people. When people say how relieved they now feel and what peace of mind they now have because they've got their affairs in order it makes me feel good to have helped them with that. What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to be able to give people a high level of personal service, whilst offering expert advice but all at a great price and knowing I could go that extra mile to help people because it was my business, so I set the standards.

Making a Will is one of the most loving and important things you can do for your loved ones. We can help you get your Will in place, thus giving you peace of mind that should the worst happen your assets and your loved ones are cared for.
Lasting Power of Attorney
It is viewed as vital if you are over 50 years of age or own property to have a Lasting Power of Attorney in place. This document helps you to remain in control even if you become mentally incapacitated at some point. Through a Lasting Power of Attorney you can name who you want to care for your Health matters and/or also for your Financial matters, should you ever not be able to care for such matters yourself.
Wills Trusts and Estate Planning
Sometimes a standard Will is not sufficient to best protect your assets and/or your loved ones. In such cases a Trust may be best suited for you and your circumstances. In some circumstances, a Protective Property Trust can help to ensure that your share of your Property does not pass sideways after your death to a new spouse or partner or to the government to cover your partner/spouse's care home fees, thus ensuring that it has to pass to your children once you and your partner/spouse have passed both away. A Discretionary Trust can help to protect a vulnerable beneficiary and ensure that funds can be gifted to a vulnerable beneficiary so they benefit from your estate but the funds are handled in a safe manner through the discretion of carefully chosen trustees whom you appoint and not directly by the vulnerable person. This can help if a beneficiary cannot handle money for themselves due to an illness or could easily be taken advantage of should they have a large sum of money. It can also be useful if you have child who suffers from substance abuse and you would not want an inheritance to add to your child's situation, and so forth. These are just a few examples and bespoke advice tailored to your circumstances would be offered during your consultation, if a Trust was required or recommended.
Pre-paid Funeral plan
Many people over the age of 50 are setting up Pre-paid funeral plans. These are a great way to save your estate money and to reduce the risk of fall-out at death. They also make it much easier on your family as all they need to do is make one phone call and the rest is cared for, should the worst happen. With the average cost of a funeral increasing greater than the rate of inflation each year, pre-paid funeral plans are great because they allow you to fix the cost of your funeral at today's prices and if you cannot afford to pay for it in one go, then the cost can be spread over up to 10 years on a payment plan. When someone dies emotions are naturally running high and everyone wants to make the best and the right choices on behalf of the deceased person in regards to the various decisions that need to be made regarding the funeral. This includes song choices and so forth. This can cause fall out, but if you have already written down within your plan what your choices would be then there is no need for fall out. If you do not know all these things yourself at present then it is not a problem as the plan can be added to after it has been put in place.
