How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
If you have room for the new stairway and a min. Of 2.7m of height in the loft you should be able to have your loft converted. We offer free advice and a design and planning service.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Firstly detailed plans are drawn and submitted for planing permission or building regulations approval as necessary. When the construction can begin Each loft is different. But usually the new floor joists and any structural beams go in first. Followed by the roof work and then interior walls and finishing. We put the stairway in towards the end of the job.
