I have used Canadiana many times but yesterday my sister had ordered flowers online for my mothers funeral, they never showed up. Ran to Canadiana just before the service and they saved the day. Made a beautiful bouquet on extremely short notice, was kind to my rambunctious children and in an affordable price point. Everyone at Canadiana, is incredible!!! They did all the florals for our wedding on July 28. A few months before, I met with Chris, and showed him pictures of what I was hoping for, and he knew exactly what I wanted right away. He went over the colours, types of flowers and all the bouqets, corsages, centerpieces. I wasn't picky about the types of flowers, I just knew I wanted lots of colour! He took my vision and created a masterpiece! From the bouquets, to the corsages, to the center pieces to the head table, everything was perfect! Better than I could have imagined! Everyone that walked into the hall, gasped when they saw the flowers. You picked the most beautiful types of flowers, colours and greenery and put them together beautifully. I spoke with Stephen, Chris and Natalie leading up to the wedding and all 3 were cheerful, courteous, professional and thorough. They were so on top of everything and made us all feel calm in what can be a stressful time leading up to an important day. Excellent high-end florist. A family owned shop that's been in Eglinton Square forever... a place worth supporting. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Like with most flower shops, you should call ahead and ask/give some notice if you are looking for something particular like a specific flower/colour, but they always have a great variety of flowers to chose from. They will have some small, but pretty bouquets (premade in store) daily at the front for if you are in a hurry, but if you have time and a tad more money to spend, I really recommend having them custom make a new bouquet for you. I've never been disappointed. Whenever I'm picking something up and I walk by someone else in the mall with something from Metro, I just shake my head. The Metro stuff may be cheaper, but it totally looks it and does not last nearly as long. With flowers, you really get what you pay for. The shop is a little hidden because it is at an end of the mall people don't frequent if they are just walking through. It is right at the north mall entrance (near the centre of the mall, or from outside - where the two big ramps going to the upstairs parking are). More...
