Well where do I begin? There is no way we would have had the amazing wedding we did without the help, support and expertise of Oscar and his team at Campbell & Rowley. I have just read a one star review on here and was really shocked. Please ignore this review because it doesn’t make sense when reading it and she obviously couldn’t get the wedding date she wanted so is throwing her toys out the pram! Campbell & Rowley are a highly popular, high end and professional catering company who specialise in large corporate events. I knew I wanted to book them for our wedding as soon as we started planning to ensure our date was available but I know also that they would do anything they could to cater for their customers, like they did for us. Oscar is an absolute credit to this company. From first time meeting him, his professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication to his role shone through. Not only did he have the best advice for our wedding food but got to know us as a couple and was able to personalise it to our story as a couple, which we wanted to create through our food. Both my husband and I would now call him a really good friend. We will really miss working with him. From the first discussions about the wedding food to the food tasting, each aspect was organised so wonderfully. We were met at our food tasting with a glass of prosecco and smiles from the team which made the experience so so special. The food was a major part of our wedding and C & R understood this completely. Oscar and his team came to set up at our wedding 2 days before and were on hand to offer support. They did not leave until they were happy with the set up and until everything was perfect and right for us. The wedding day was just outstanding from start to finish. All our guests were met with huge smiles and their welcome drinks. C & R provided the bar, wedding breakfast and evening food which were all OUT OF THIS WORLD! All our guests commented on how amazing the food was. The dessert (white chocolate apple) was especially a hit with guests (see picture below) it was served so beautiful and tasted absolutely incredible it was so unique. They took all the stress out of our wedding day for us and the timings were just spot on. Campbell and Rowley catered our wedding. They provided the wedding breakfast, bar and evening snacks. Their service was highly professional, very helpful and went above and beyond on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. They even helped with items that they hadn't provided themselves (bubbly reception, afternoon teas and wine with meal). I cannot recommend them highly enough. More...

We used Campbell & Rowley as our wedding caterers and we’re so glad we did. The food and service has been second to none. Rewind two years - my wife met Oscar and the team at a wedding fair and knew straight away that she wanted them to cater for our day . We gave them an idea of what we wanted and then visited them at Blackpool Football Club to taste the food and the team were so welcoming. The food was incredible and we were bowled over by the quality and choice. There was a white chocolate apple and apple crumble that was out of this world but a little over our budget. We discussed our budget and made a tweak to the desert, instead of the white chocolate apple we went for a white chocolate plant pot and apple crumble. Leading up to the day Oscar was fantastic at keeping in touch and making sure our guests dietary requirements were being met and this took a lot of stress and pressure away from us. On the day itself the food was incredible and served with a smile. The staff were incredibly attentive and personable and we did not have to lift a finger. Nothing was too much trouble. We had so many compliments over the food and service, with a number of guests saying it was the best wedding food they have ever tasted. On behalf of my new wife and I, I’d like to thank Paul, Oscar and the gang for catering at our wedding two weeks ago at the Great Hall at Mains. You absolutely smashed it!
We’re still hearing nothing but praise about the food from our guests. From the canapés to the mains to the desserts it was all INCREDIBLE!
And all the staff were a credit to you- so helpful and just really lovely!

So..... 255 guests to cater for (with several high profile individuals) in a marquee in April (weather was rather inclement) ! Oscar, Paul, George & their team absolutely smashed it ! To a ‘man’, every guest was hugely appreciative of the food, the service, the personal service of each & every member of the Rowley team.

We cannot recommend Campbell & Rowley more. They catered for our wedding on 30th December 2017 at Hoghton Tower and did so much more than we could ever have imagined. Our food was absolutely delicious, and the staff and service couldn't have been better. They did so much more than catering. Oscar was our go to person for ideas (which are brilliant!), timings and he pulled everything together perfectly with the other suppliers. 5* from start to finish. Our wedding was made extra special by the extensive attention to detail given by Oscar -absolute legend-and of course all those in the kitchen and front of house over the entire 15 months of planning.

Can I please pass on my personal thanks and the gratitude of all our family for your excellent work in making yesterday's Funeral Reception a lovely event in Mum's memory?

The food was lovely, hot and very tasty; your staff were outstanding and really friendly; the organisation was great and the 'meet and greet' at the entrance was a lovely touch that everyone commented on!

Heather and her team made our wedding reception a pure joy from start to finish. Starting at the initial phone enquiry, right through to after the big day. Our wedding catering exceeded all expectations! We are so grateful for the effort that Heather and the team put into the preparations, and service on the day. The team went above and beyond- from setting up the room (with all of our little details) to announcing the wedding breakfast and keeping everything on track. They even managed to get timings back on track after a delayed start, and dealt with everything with the utmost professionalism and reassurance (something we definitely needed!). The food was impeccable, and we received a huge amount of positive compliments from the guests. The bar staff kept the drinks flowing (even running out to get more gin in the middle of the Eden Valley!) and were super friendly. Absolutely could not recommend Campbell & Rowley more. Oscar & Team - you guys are amazing!
From start (best part of two years ago) to finish you guys just went above and beyond to ensure the catering for our big day was impeccable.
Claire met you guys at a wedding fair I couldn't attend and straight away said to myself I've found our caterers, we didn't bother looking anywhere else.
Throughout the whole journey you kept in touch and nothing was too much trouble. Considering our budget you worked with us to create a menu that was outstanding!

On the day itself the room was set up perfectly and we couldn't have asked for nicer food or better service, everything was done with a smile and we received so many compliments about the quality of the food and service - everything from that beef was something else to that was the best wedding meal I have ever had.

What can we say?! What a truly amazing company ... not only the most fantastic food but fabulous events management also. Right from the start Oscar was an absolute pleasure to deal with and always listened to our ideas. We had a brilliant experience at our tasting meal at Rowley's restaurant at Blackpool Football Club (only problem was we thought we had to be polite and finish our plates and didn't realise Paul had cooked us 4 starters, 4 mains, and 4 desserts to try- which were out of this world!!!!). We had never catered an event before and had many questions to ask which Oscar and the team were more than happy to answer. Everyone we have seen since our wedding has commented on the high quality of the food and how seamlessly our day flowed. Many people have said this has been 'THE BEST' food they have ever had at a wedding and it is 'One to remember'. Oscar and his team provided the catering and bar for our wedding in a marquee. The food tasted incredible, the presentation was amazing and the service perfect! ! Our guests had never ending praise for the wedding breakfast.

The team also seamlessly ran the bar throughout the day, with kind and helpful staff. They served all the guest with welcome drinks and worked tirelessly to keep the venue clean and tidy.

To top it off, Oscar provided wood fired pizza ovens and served up bespoke pizzas to our night guests. These were very popular.

I would highly recommend Oscar and his team, I was able to relax knowing all our guest where happy and they were being looked after. Thanks for making our day special and run smoothly! More...
